Gas Bandit's Political Thread V: The Vampire Likes Bats

This is literally the only thing keeping me from complete mental breakdown. The thought that the (official) military will tell Trump to fuck off.

IDK how many of you guys have followed this, but this is great. Despite being the architect of the "blacklist anyone who helps a dem congressional primary challenger" policy as an attempt to stop the squad, Pelosi endorsed Kennedy because he's a centrist dynastic piece of shit. The moderate wing of the democrats can go fuck themselves and I hope Pelosi loses in november.

Good. Fuck the Kennedys, the Bushs, the Clintons, the whomever the fucks that decide that politics is some fucking dynastic entitlement. That goes for the Canadian prime minister too.

We don't need this monarchial bullshit.

Holy fuck. I knew he gave up his seqt in the house for this race. What I didn't know was that the democrat running to take the seat is...another Kennedy.

Two steps forward, one step back.

Another brilliant tactical move from the Democratic leadership:

EXCLUSIVE: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited a San Francisco hair salon on Monday afternoon for a wash and blow-out, despite local ordinances keeping salons closed amid the coronavirus pandemic, Fox News has learned.

On principle, I want to see that confirmed by someone other than Fox before I start firing up the outrage. Especially if it's "exclusive."

U.S. court: Mass surveillance program exposed by Snowden was illegal

"Seven years after former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden blew the whistle on the mass surveillance of Americans’ telephone records, an appeals court has found the program was unlawful - and that the U.S. intelligence leaders who publicly defended it were not telling the truth.

"In a ruling handed down on Wednesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said the warrantless telephone dragnet that secretly collected millions of Americans’ telephone records violated the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and may well have been unconstitutional."

1) Do it, Arnie.
2) I want all these polling places to have posters with terrible Schwartzenegger-action-movie puns about voting.

Although, I’m not into politics, I’m into survival.” from The Running Man would pretty much be a campaign slogan this year.

We tried to oust him but he barely squeaked by in 2018. Texas is still too heavily Republican in too many counties, though it's still shifting a lot.

As an aside... "Anonymous sources aren't valid because they can be fabricated." has been super rich coming from the crowd that has followed QAnon for years now. Irony really is dead in 2020.

Yeah, been seeing that bullshit a lot lately too.

Travis Tritt is trending on Twitter by being a general ass tonight. And somehow Charlie Daniels, the LATE Charlie Daniels, replied to one of his tweets not three hours ago.

So I reported it as a fake account. :p
