Well, after preparing stuff for my volunteer meeting off and on all week, my printer ran out of ink ten minutes before I had to leave so I had nothing to hand out for any of the things that I was meant to discuss :(

I wanted to show up and look incredibly well prepared, because I am....and I looked like a train wreck. It was brutal. I could feel my face burning. Bleh.[DOUBLEPOST=1505707831,1505707781][/DOUBLEPOST]It was so bad that I had to stop for shame ice cream on the way home.

I put a lot of effort into my work so I was really upset that something as minor as running out of ink when it was too late to do anything about it caused me to look unprofessional. It threw me off and I got frazzled and I ended up not only being unable to print what I wanted to, but forgetting a bunch of the things I had printed and prepared earlier in the week :( I also spilled Bits and Bites all over a bunch of my art supplies. Hot mess express!!

There was a shooting about a block from my house. Right now there are cops everywhere and we have 0 information. So I guess I watch the news and wait and see. It's like when we were in the projects all over again...

Hmmm, why is this that way? Guess I'll ask Google.

Oh hey, naturally there's a relevant SO answer... Answered by @stienman, because of course.
Yeah, I had that experience on SO. "Wait. This...this is steinman. 7 billion people, and the one who answers my question is someone I know. Weird."
