Yeah, I saw the misspelling, but didn't see anything Freudian about it.
You don't think it reveals that Kurtz has been playing a ton of classic arcade games lately, and secretly wishes he could be playing more of them instead of working on his comics? :D

Yes, but Freudian psychology states that everything revolves around sex, specifically the penis. So I was looking for something resembling a phallus in the panel.

Then that just means that Kurtz has a hard-on for retro arcade games.

Now we need somebody to dub the sinistar screaming sound effect over a porn moneyshot.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHH!"

"I had a Freudian slip while having breakfast with my wife this morning. I meant to say, 'Could you pass the orange juice?' but instead I said, 'You ruined my life, you fucking whore!'"

Huh. I was always under the impression that Freudian psychology was all sexual in nature. My teachers LIED! Or Wikipedia is wrong.

We don't know that he won't return to it. I mean, yes, he has a long history of dropping storylines never to return, but he could be trying to cut between the two.

Though, probably not, because you know, hack.

Yeah the timing has been really weird. I get that any sort of fiction can have overlapping storylines involving different characters, but to do it with a webcomic where it's gonig to be two weeks between storyline "chunks", it makes it really weird as far as pacing.

I guess he's going for the tv formula "A story / B story" but that formula is based on keeping viewers riveted through the commercial breaks - ie Big Moment / Classic Line, break for commercial. That doesn't work in a static medium.

And while I'm tempted to be humorously hyperbolic about how bad the Mappy thing is, the fact it is, it's just not worth it. It's "Adult Swim on Sunday Night" bad. Tim and Eric bad, but without even the weirdness to make it memorable.

Step 1.) Get a huge buffer of guest strips from another artist.

Step 2.) Still be late on posting your strip when the buffer runs out.

I'm just gonna throw this out there. I googled Sinistar rule 34 because it just seemed to ridiculous to exists.

If you want to google it, its there. Its shameful, but its there.

Well, companies that make the cell phone games are just printing money.
Not really. I have a friend and that's what he does for a living. And he's by no means making bank. Now, if one of the games were to take off it would be different. But this industry right now is cluttered and filled with white noise. Granted, if in their world the brand PvP has value, this would change the equation. But it's not that easy to get games out there & popular.

Hey, what happened to Max's game company? Thats why he originally partnered with PvP to help HIS games right? I hope this story answers what happened to that.

Ah. Still, what happened to Max's compay? After Cole got that check for the giant panda he left and we didn't here a thing about his company ever again.
