It's not kink shaming as much as pointing out the hypocrisy of the dipshit being against trans people yet that's his go-to porn. Like the anti-gay priest who gets caught with an underaged boy in a hotel. The family aspect of the hypocrites turns my stomach.
But that's not how the tone of the story is taken. Transpeople are still highly stigmatized, so most of the people sharing that story are doing it as both a dig against Jones, and a slur against the transgendered. "Can you believe he looks at TRANNY PORN? Haha, gross!"

Pedophilia and Homosexuality generally have little in common with one another. While Pedophiles may have a preference for specific types of children, they generally get off more from the power and control of the situation than the sex of the child. This is EXTREMELY well documented. In fact, many pedophiles seek children as sexual partners because their own normal sexual growth was interupted by things like mental illness, mental handicaps, and by being a victim of sexual assault themselves and they instinctively reach out to people at the same emotional maturity to avoid rejection or harm.

I think the part of labeling it "tranny porn" is the problem, because it throws transgender people under the bus (i.e. "it's sick and depraved!"), rather than just Alex Jones for being a giant hypocrite, among other issues. I think it still would have come across against Jones if it said, "Hey, remember how he was SO AGAINST transgenders? Maybe he shouldn't show off his phone!" or whatever.

I feel uncomfortable every time I hear the host of the EEVblog (Australian electrical engineer) call an electrical transformer a "tranny", so... Yeah, I definitely wouldn't refer to transgender porn or a transgender person as "tranny".

I considered it, but because I could not find a verifiable source when the news first broke, I didn’t want to get caught up in the hype and find out it was a hoax, and then later I just forgot.
