Anyone else sick and tired of the fixation on Tebow?
The guy who was doing the live blogging for the Packer game the other week was making a joke of it, constantly saying things like "And it's amazing how this play will affect Tebow". Of course, he wasn't playing in that game.

My Texans blew up so many playoff brackets yesterday. Onward to Baltimore! Now, we may not, probably not, make it past them, but it's two more games than those cowgirls from Dallas made it.

Pouncey showed himself unworthy of the mantle of Mansfield, Webster, and Dawson. Less than an hour after the game, he was hawking tshirts and iTunes downloads. And when called out for the bad timing, goes off on everyone.

So I guess expecting a "professional" to act like a man instead of a child is now "hating".

I can say that I'm pretty darned happy that Andre Johnson, and JJ Watt (say Watt again Mother Fucker), got touchdowns in Houston's first Playoff Appearance and Win.

Here's a wonderful scene that played out on ESPN today (I'm paraphrasing):
Anchor 1: He has a Marvel comic book, he's been parodied on SNL, and he's been approached by political campaigns for his endorsement. How far can this Tebowmania go?

Mark Schlereth: He's a bit young for this, so maybe it will be a few years, but he could take this to the White House one day. I can see it happening.
Are you fucking kidding me?

I'm a huge 49ers fan, and I thought they were done for twice during that game. That was one of the most amazing games I've seen all year. I think Alex Smith finally proved something to everyone else today, and good for him. I hope he and the rest of the team enjoy what they've accomplished... then get ready for next week.

I had New Orleans & New England in the superbowl with New Orleans winning it all. So much for that idea.

Great game, though.

He proved NO does not have a 4th quarter Defense.

Oh come on! With the offense turning the ball over 5 times, that defense was on the field forever. They did a great job keeping the Niners in check as long as they did.

Things we now know:
  1. The 49ers are a pretty good football team.
  2. Alex Smith has two more games to go to prove the 49ers didn't screw up in 2005.
  3. Tim Tebow is human.
  4. Tebow is still likely going to be the Broncos starting QB going into training camp, barring something similar to 2005 happening with RGIII and/or Andrew Luck (not very likely, though).
  5. Baltimore and Houston will have to travel to Foxboro for the AFC title game.
  6. It's supposed to be cold and breezy at Lambeau on Sunday.
