The game that jumped out at me is Punch Club, but not for good reasons. I only know it from TotalBiscuit's coverage, and that made it look like a boring, repetitive piece of crap. I don't know why this game keeps getting attention.
I played it for awhile. It's okay, but it gets really dull after awhile. It's a great idea, but not a great execution for long play.
Fanatical has Mad Games Tycoon on for $1. That's been on my wishlist for awhile, so...YOINK!

It's not as bad as it seems. What you want is "legendary edition" which is the base game plus all the expansions that were released over it's lifetime. You don't need to buy anything after that, and while there is technically in game currency, it isn't actually used for anything other than something to give away in tournamentsBlood Bowl II: $5.99

I bought the base game. There's a bundle for just the DLC that's about the same as the legendary edition minus the base game, so if I like the base game enough, I might get that.
On the other hand, Monster Hunter releases in two weeks, so that may be the duration of the game for me. Depends how much it sucks me in.
Blood bowl is my favorite game. I play the tabletop, a weekly league in BB2, and write articles for the NAF. But it also takes a special kind of masochist to enjoy. It's also a very difficult game, so let me know if you need any help

I didn't much care for Stellaris but it's not really my jam anyway. Loved Pillars, see if you can find my character in it!
It's a pretty great bundle, but I own pretty much all of the ones I want already.
Pillars is worth a playthrough, just be aware of the type of game before going in. As in, it's not exactly hack-and-slash. The combat is probably the weakest part of the game, if you're not into old school RPGs just play it on story mode.

I don't want to dissuade you, but man, GTA 4 was such a fucking downer. Especially compared to the hard swerve into "happy-go-splodey" that Saints Row was taking at the time.
Bully was pretty interesting though, I wish they'd remake it and flesh it out some - it was good but it had potential to be uh-MAZ-ing that went unrealized

I sadly own most of that bundle already. Only ones I don't are Manhunt, Bully, and GTA IV. Not really worth it for me.

I actually prefer GTA 4's realistic downerness as compared to the rest of the series, but that's like 90% BECAUSE Saints Row is my wacky fix.
The strength of Bully really shines through in the expanded edition, with the new classes and missions. They keep hinting they want to do a sequel but it hans't happened yet.

All of this. I didn't mind the setting. I missed the more tongue-in-cheek and silly GTA's, but as many have said, Saint's Row filled that void.
The cousin shit drove me batty, though. "No, I'm NOT going bowling with you because I'm literally in the middle of a mission!" and yet he still gets pissy if you say no.
My biggest issue was the driving mechanics. Was it just me or did a lot of cars slide way too much when you hit the brakes? Like they were on ice? There was a racing mission that took me FOREVER to beat because of this.
Yeah the driving controls weren't great.
