True. But the only thing that kept him from going to trial was his poor health. The evidence was there.

Royal Rumble tonight! Anyone got any good picks? I'm feeling pretty confident that they won't give us the absolutely worst possible ending this time like they have the last, Jesus, 4 years!?

Goldberg wins it. No question. Kurt Angle just cancelled his weekend plans to do announcer work with another promotion, so he'll be the surprise entrant. Samoa Joe will be another.

But it's going to be Goldberg and Reigns at Wrestlemania. They'll Bill it Spear vs. Spear or something stupid like that.

Rollins takes out a mid-carder and forces his way into the Rumble, or he comes in with a chair and just goes on a rampage to ruin it and provoke HHH.

Cena beats Styles. Not my favorite outcome, but they can build up that rivalry big-time Cena wins clean.

I barely even keep up with wrestling any more, but I always love tuning into for a Rumble. Even if the last few years have been...disappointing.

But I will mark the HELL out if we get a countdown for the next entrant and this hits:

Kurt really deserves the Hall of Fame nod. One of the best, but never really caught on outside of the industry.

They did it. I don't know how but they managed to screw up the Rumble again. The worst part is it was looking to be pretty great.

then reigns comes in at 30 and it goes to hell. The crowd is instantly muted because of the boos. And Orton picks up the win so it looks like Cena/Orton at mania.

:facepalm::puke:

Holy shit, was that a bad call. Come on, you have Goldberg steamroll Lesnar again, bring in Taker late, still have Bray and Zayn in deep into the match, and you set up Mania with Orton as the headliner?

No Angle, either...

Well, I really thought a RAW guy would win. They'd have Styles win the title black at Fastlane, and Cena break the record at Mania. But nope. Let's go with Cena/Orton again...

I had number 23 as one of my numbers in our Rumble Pool. I cheered Randy all the way to a cool 2 hundo.[DOUBLEPOST=1485762217,1485762030][/DOUBLEPOST]Kofi's spot this year was REAL weak.

Mojo Rawley wins the Andre battle royale...with Gronk's help, sort of? Meh, it looked like they were setting up Zayn.

Dean beats Corbin. I'm fine with that.

Hardys! Hardys! And of course they win. How could they not? Jeff immediately returns to his, "how close can I come to killing myself?" form.

LolCenaWins! Cena proposes. Look for him on the Today show on Monday, probably.

Orton beats Wyatt. They had to do that after all that buildup.

Brock beats Goldberg. We knew it was coming. We knew it would be a grand total of four different moves between the two. At least it was short.

Naomi gets her title back.

Reigns beats Taker. Taker leaves his gear in the ring, gives Michelle a kiss, and slowly makes his way up the ramp, calling down the lightning one last time. I'm sorry, I've got something in my eye.

Also, Good ol' JR came back for a match. Kinda surprised he had it in him after losing his wife so suddenly.

Jesus, JR just lost his wife?

That's like the time his mother died and he stuck around in England to call some shitty UK PPV.

Anyways, the show was still about 17 hours too long, but it was a HELL of a lot better than last year. About the only stinkers, in my opinion, were the HHH/Rollins match and the Orton/Bray match.

I thought they were going to cut the 6 way women's match by the time the end of the night rolled around. Glad they didn't. Naomi's entrance was awesome in the dark and it ended up being waaaaay more entertaining that it had any right to be being so quick and clusterfuck prone as it could have been.[DOUBLEPOST=1491200759,1491200500][/DOUBLEPOST]Bow to your queen.

And seriously, they need to stop pretending that Roman Reigns is as strong as Brock, Cena or Cesaro. He fucks up big power moves all the time.[DOUBLEPOST=1491201686,1491201542][/DOUBLEPOST]And I was really bummed they were going to waste AJ Styles on a match with Shane McMahon. Seemed like the ultimate waste.

FUCKING WRONG I WAS.

Ended up being match of the night and a monster way to open the show proper.

Best entrance of the night. Charlotte has truly become the Nature Girl.

The first WrestleMania ppv last night was great, but then the second one started with the plodding, boring, "drama" of the worst kind of HHH match and it all went downhill from there.

No, the end of an era was 6 years ago when Triple H wrestled him in Hell in a Cell. Before Brock ended his WrestleMania winning streak.

This was at least 3 years overdue.

This.

Look, Undertaker is an all time great but his retirement was long, long overdue.

I tuned in when I saw social media going berserk over the Hardyz returned. So I missed the half of the show that was apparently good. Because what I saw was an unnecessarily drawn out shit show.

The mixed tag was bland and predictable.
Bray/Orton was some of the stupidest shit I've seen in many years.
Yet another fucking concert shoved down our throats.
The women's match was forgettable outside of Naomi's entrance.
Brock/Goldberg was kind of fun in a "two monster trucks smashing into each other" way. It was short, fast paced, and inoffensive.
Taker/Reigns was a dull abomination and a horrible match for Undertaker's long overdue retirement. That Reigns got booed out of the building or that the match itself was mostly in front of a silent crowd is a big sign. WWE - aka: Vince - NEEDS to give up on the Roman Reigns experiment. It's done. It's over. He doesn't connect with the audience. He hasn't earned the spot they keep shoving him into, and every time they try to put him in big matches like this, he fails miserably. It needs to end.

Plus, the fact that the show itself was SEVEN GODDAMN HOURS. Even joining it late, I still thought the show dragged and was unnecessarily long. I can't imagine anyone sitting down for the entirety of this thing and enjoying it.

Personally, I firmly believe that NO pay-per-view should be any longer than three hours. No exceptions. Not even WrestleMania.
Of course, I also firmly believe no weekly show should be any longer than an hour. Three hours for one show is ridiculous. I can't imagine anyone actually having the time or patience to watch 5 hours a week (6 if you count NXT).

The only way to fix Reigns is to give into the crowd hate and turn him heel. Start bragging about retiring Taker. Show up to Raw wearing the gear Taker left in the ring. That will turn the heat nuclear.

They won't. At this point, they're too stubborn to do the right thing.

So JBL's bully bullshit drove out Mauro Renallo aka the worst announcer chased out the best one.

Fucking carnies.

I cancelled my Network subscription. When it asked why, I put "JBL has a job and Mauro Renallo does not. Be a Star."
