[Other] The not so funny pic thread (some NSFL or gore)

Something that started in 2010 when I wasn't looking, it seems. I retract my rating.
I guess they're feeling the pressure from the usual 7-9 round capacities of semi-autos.
blocked at work...
reason: VIOLENCE
made me laugh a little.
Oh sure. I bet they'll let you stream football (either type), though.

EDIT: Found a better picture, and it is apparently a S&W .357 and happened in November of 2014.
I spent some time trying to find the exact model, but couldn't find any S&W revolvers with 8rd capacity that also didn't have an obvious underbarrel lug (which is not present in that picture). That makes me think it's a model 27 (6-shot).

EDIT2: Also, this comment is worth reposting

This worm is a Nemertea, also named "ribbon worm" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nemertea
The "thing" it expels on that poor human being is his proboscis http://i.imgur.com/GqDOJpS.jpg
The big exemplars apparently tend to do it when handled as described here: http://lanwebs.lander.edu/faculty/rsfox/invertebrates/cerebratulus.html
I was eating, it was fine. I used to eat while working on dissections in biology lab, so this wasn't anything since there is no smell-o-vision, yet.

I was originally going to post this to the Awesome Videos Thread, because it's cooking steaks over freaking lava...

but they do awful, awful things to steak, and salmon. The hot dogs looked like they stayed edible, though...

I think the biggest problem is having them just inches away from the lava like that. set them further up and there should be a "sweet spot" of around 500 degrees that will be better for cooking. Man, I want some barbecue now.

They say some of the rivers rose over 20 FEET in an hour! No wonder people were caught by surprise.

It's really quite tragic all around.

I feel for the people down there. I experienced that in a smaller scale years ago. It's damn frightening when you realize that water has that much power to really screw things up.

Oh look, it's the traffic in Cities: Skylines.

HAH, just kidding, there'd be 9 empty lanes no car willingly uses, and a 900 mile backlog in one lane.

I remember the first time I blew a gasket over a $5 hamburger at a football game...

I HATE concessions. Hey we have a captive audience! Let's abuse them for every penny!

This is why I like having the real life version of the movie Major League for a local baseball team. $5 for nosebleeds, and you can bring in coolers. They'll do anything to fill those seats.

Today, 71 years ago, more soldiers died on this beach than in either Iraq or Afghanistan since 2001.
