I can't search Jay. Please reduce the search limit to 2.

34863286723 forums require me to search with Jay

Plz make it happen, it would mean the world to me.

J

JCM

Its a rather weird limit, as it would make some searches on users (like my nick, JCM), or some key terms (like God of War) useless.

Seems to allow it now but it's still broken, always provides 0 results.

I tried it with my name, JCM's, sex... nothing works.

You're right. What the hell? Let me reindex the searches and see if that works.

That'll probably (hopefully) do it. :p
It did and it didn't. It gives JCM & Jay hits when their names are put into the "user" portion, but not the "search" portion. I did get hits from the search function off of some words I know were there, but it's still not totally complete.

Still can't figure out why. I've been asking the vBulletin boards but no answers yet.

I can't reboot or add to the SQL server like that. And I've done everything else. I'll do it all over again.

Contacted Arvixe and had them change the 'my' file. I have since rebuilt the indexes. Nothing.

I don't think there's anything else we can do. Searching for "jay" & "JCM" still come up empty uless you put them in the Advanced Search and the User category.

It's actually picking the stuff up NOW but not from before. So you can search "jay" now and get this thread.

The new index is syncing, I guess. I'll take that for a dollar.

Thanks for all your efforts, again.
