I can't say I'm happy with everything he's doing, but man he does NOT seem to pass up chances to just throw stuff right into these people's teeth and I am here for each and every one of them.

Now i'm curious, how did Colorado (and Wyoming, i guess) end up with those straight ass borders... is it all just open plain with no notable geographic features to use as natural borders or something?
It's because people rushed west and tried to claim land, and drew boundaries where they could get the right amount of people to get statehood. They didn't really give a shit about natural boundaries. (See also, why states are so large and sparsly populated the father west you go.)
