New Picture Thread

Hrm, I don't think the sharing permissions on that picture are set correctly. Might try attaching it here, it works again.
It seems my english failed me this time. I don't understand what you are trying to say.

EDIT: It's weird. I could see the picture at home, and I noticed I couldn't see it at work after I posted this. And now when I'm editing, the picture is visible again.

EDIT2: I can't see the picture in another browser. Tried pasting it again and it is still not showing.

Second bathroom. Yes, tile everywhere, even on the ceiling.

The back yard - I have no houses behind me, I back up right against green space (and mosquitoes).

Apparently, the guy who owned this house previously was, like, THE tile magnate of the Brazos Valley. Big tile store/distributor. Everything in this house is tile. Tile floors, tile baseboards/molding, all-tile surfaces in the kitchen. Breezeway and patio? Tile! Bathrooms? Tile all over. Even tile on the ceiling. Open up the cabinets? Tile. Look under the kitchen sink? TILE. No linoleum or carpet ANYWHERE. ONLY TILE.

And yeah, I don't expect to get much use out of that fireplace.
Some progress pictures, now that I'm actually sleeping in the joint.

I need a bigger TV.

I need to give my desk a good, thorough scrub and polish before I put my PC and stuff back on/in it.

SO. MUCH. DUST. Also I've since swapped out the light bulbs for ones of a warmer color in this room.

Getting the books back on the shelf. I had put them in boxes wherever they fit, as opposed to in any kind of order, so this is time consuming. (I did this while waiting for the guy to come turn on the gas this morning. Yes, yes, I know, go ahead, hit me with all the puns about my username).

That is a lot of wood paneling. I hope it came with a secret door.

And I know you told us about the tiling before, but there's a part of me screaming for area rugs. The only place I've seen more tile is when I visit my in-laws in Taiwan. I'm trying to decide which bugged me more: trying to get around non-stop tile when you're not allowed to wear shoes, or when my 1st apartment in Philadelphia had the kitchen carpeted. :Leyla:

What do you mean, I did the ass kicking (at Mario Party)!
But tell them how the very first 2 times I ever played Smash, I stomped you ;)

Yeah yeah then your son joined and crushed us all, but I'm going to milk my beginner's luck streak for all it's worth!
