The EPIC WIN Thread 3: SON OF EPIC

The forum really has changed, no one is willing to rate disagree or needs a lock on your post...
Because after so many trials and tribulations, and after simply spending so much time with each other, we have become family, and as such we are much more tolerant of the stuff that would've led to a disagree or a lock in the past.

I call creepy uncle!

I was at my arthritis specialist yesterday and she observed my ridiculous hives first hand while I was there to see her for something else. She somehow got the allergy clinic that I have been waiting for a call from for well over a year to call me overnight and see me Monday!!!!

I love her.

I mean I was already a fan but now, I could almost cry.

It's a bit like police work... if we don't see it, it's hard to investigate it properly. But if we witness it, Things Can Happen, very quickly.

I keep thinking it's one of those generic "big guy bad guy" enemies from a beat-em-up (like Final Fight or something).

Wife got me an early birthday present. Totally redid my office cause it was crappy. I had everything I owned on an old dining room table. It's much better now. She's so awesome!

(and of course, I had to move the booze globe up here to make it a real writer's office :) )

I mentioned it to my wife and said "I'm your secretary"

But, you know, if I told her "crawl on your hands and knees in a slinky outfit and bring me a croissant" she's most likely to say "you got two legs. Get it your own damn self."

So, I don't think she really qualifies ;)

Just scheduled all of my vacation for the year (and some of the next's), I'll have 4 weeks off mid-December to early January. Finally going back home to see the folks :)

Only downside is the low-cost flight we picked has a 20 hour layover in Schipol, so we're going to try to plan a tourism speedrun of Amsterdam (the alternative being to languish in the airport).

There's no connecting train that can get you home in less than 20 hours?
