Apparently they already made this joke in 1) the film Fanboys and 2) Arrested Development.
As per @Dave's request: I got threatened by an SNL writer today.
I work for a fitness company. And I deal with the money side of things - recently I've been 'gifted' the job of issuing credits. Now. I don't deal with customers, THANK GOD. HOWEVER. Today. Somehow. A writer for SNL got my extension and threatened to write a skit blasting myself and the company I work for if I didn't give him proof that his credit had been issued. Which isn't how credits work, but okay, cool. I tried to explain that I don't have a receipt since that's not..how this works. But he wouldn't get off the phone until I gave him proof. It was wild.
So. He was rude. Which I get, but still. I gave him the extension of the person who could actually help him - he can have his 'receipt' when the batch closes tonight and I don't have access to that. Anyway. That's all. I hope I meet him someday so I can tell him he's an asshole.

Ah, I was about to explain the check mate, but the king would have been in check already. STALEMATE!
edit: unless the Queen was stopping on that square, then it would be a checkmate...
I hate chess sets where bishops look too much like pawns (and I have a set I won't use where the knight looks almost identical to the pawns), or the queen could be the king's twin brother.
This confuses me now that I realize the piece in hand is not a king.

Every week, I put in a 30 minute gospel show for one of our stations, called "Refuge Temple Ministries."
Every week, I have to hit backspace a whole lot when filling out the metadata on the file, because I always type "refuse" instead of "refuge."
I don't think they would appreciate being called a refuse temple.

That is most likely the black king's own rank after castling kingside. It's just one more step to get to the corner from there, and a frequent place for a black king to end up mated.

Obviously you have not watched Code Geass.
Explanation: There is a scene in Code Geass that involves a series of stupid moves that culminates in an illegal move with an incorrect calling of check, where both players just move their kings toward each other as if playing a turn-based game of chicken.
