Whine like a baby, now with 500% more drama!

My mother's new thing is to constantly remind me that my sister has my condition, but she runs marathons. She's so fit and she's so active. OMFG, she's had a handful of flares that started in the last year that respond to Advil. I've had them for almost 30 years and my SI is toast. I'm on a whole smorgasbord of pain meds and I'm wide awake at 1:30 am. It's not a contest!!! Grrr.[DOUBLEPOST=1487568349,1487568258][/DOUBLEPOST]I would love to visit you and take polar bear pictures all day and northern lights pictures all night. Can I bring Pud to visit the doom weasels?

Absolutely, though you may not like the tricks they teach him. ;)

There is a strange intermittent, high-pitched, electronic beep coming from something in the hall outside my office. It was there on Sunday morning too, and I still can't figure out what, where, or how to turn the damn thing off.

So annoying!

But it should make this evening's board meeting wrap-up quick!

Sounds like someone's battery needs changing.

Went to Sonic for lunch today. Ordered a triple chocolate Blast for dessert. Got a cup full of vanilla soft serve.

Actually got out of my car at Sonic for once. I went to show it to them and say hey look I'm usually not one to complain but this is kind of ridiculous.

We've had that stuff happen to us around here, too. Especially when they run promos. I think the local owners don't want to give up the cash, so they cheap out. Happy hour drinks are like 80% ice. Half price shakes after 8 are always mysteriously "sold out".

That's why we always request "EZ-Ice" when we order. More drink, less ice is very good.

Sitting through the dress rehearsal for an elementary school talent show is more painful than the actual show.

Weather Underground stations were 80 and above on Friday. One hit 95. In Morgantown. In February. Where the last few winters had been far colder than normal, even when the rest of the country had warmer than usual winters.

Only two of the next ten days lave a predicted *low* below freezing.

Meanwhile, out here on the west coast, I'm currently sitting under a winter storm warning, or winter weather advisory, or some such BS, for another one to three inches of snow; which could expand to another 3 to 5, since I'm sitting far enough away from the water, close enough to the Cascades, and high enough above sea level to put me in a nice little convergence zone where we tend to get a little colder and a little wetter.

1st world pirate problems - movies that have small bits of non-english in them, like Hunt for Red October, where the theater versions would have displayed english subtitles on the screen, but whoever ripped and reincoded the movie to put up on the torrents got lazy, and only included one set of subtitles that subtitles EVERYTHING, english or otherwise.

So, either you have all the subtitles all the time, or you have no subtitles, not even for the other languages.

Irritating.
