I still have CD albums full of software from the 90s... and pirate rip compilations >_< Two or three thick albums full, in fact.

Oh deary me do I understand this. I'm about to pack for another move soon and have exactly the same predicament. Star Wars Dark ForcesWarcraft - Orcs & Humans, Lords of the Realm, Settlers II, etc...
Settlers II was the shit! Played it nonstop. To bad they ruined it.

I still have the original DOS Pirates! game. F-19, F-15e Strike Fighter, Ultima 7ish.... all the Gold Box D&D games.

Do I keep this not-mint original Diablo II box with non-working CDs?
I just made myself throw away my original Starcraft CDs, it hurt.
Keep the codes, though. Blizzard will let you redownload them forever as long as you register the original CD keys to your account.
Imma have to go home and photograph my collection tonight.
I might be able to match you...except for the pirated stuff, of course.

I don't remember if Starcraft had a CD key, but I DO know that it didn't give a fuck until Brood War, because in college we just ripped someone's copy a bunch of times so we could all play together.

...and here I spent the better part of yesterday looking for a $300 thermal transfer printer I know I had years ago that I now believe I purged after several years of not using it.

For the most part, my husband and I have an unspoken arrangement in which I put stuff I can't make myself throw away in boxes and put them in the basement, and once a year, while I'm not looking, he loads up the car a few times and dumps stuff at the local Town Clean-up Day.

I shit you not, one of my 9 year old daughter's classmates handed out Valentines that I am fairly certain contain an adult joke. I think the mom must've obliviously copied it from somewhere. And yes, English is her parents' first language. Texas born and raised.

Here's a picture.

Brood War let you "spawn" a bunch of copies that would allow you to play as long as at least one of the players had a legit copy, I think.

Heh, apparently Oracle is still butthurt over the android fair use ruling in Oracle v. Google, because my java update today tried to convince me of the merits of using Yahoo as my primary search engine.

No thanks, grandpa.

My special power of finding-female-coworkers-attractive-and-then-they-leave-the-company appears to have mutated. I mentioned a while ago that I found a female coworker attractive during a meeting, and then she announced she's getting married. Yesterday I saw another female coworker in a very nice pair of shorts, and then last night I saw on Facebook that she's getting married too. Finally, last week I noticed one of our PMs is rather cute, and last night in the Facebook announcement I noticed that she commented that she's getting married soon too, what a coincidence!

So... if anyone out there's unhappy about being single, then come work for us. Chances are I'll find you attractive sooner or later.

Tell your company to set up recruitment at the Daughter's Festival/Chinese Valentine's Day.

I don't think you'll find me as appealing in those shorts.

Since I'm starting to get back in shape, I'm thinking of doing something this year: do the 5 or 10k run for the Blue Nose Marathon. Funny enough, it's on the same weekend as my birthday (May 20th; marathon runs from the 19th-21st).

That gives me plenty of time to train and get in good enough shape to do it. Might be a good goal to work towards.

I don't think we have enough room for anyone new in this house right now. Not even in the garage.
If he brings his own camper, though...

I just passed the 5m³ (about 180 ft³) worth of books packed threshold ....aaalllmmost done. Well, t obe fair, I already packed most of my board games and DVDs as well. They take up a surprisingly small amount of space, comparatively
