I had a similar issue a while back, and it turned out for some reason the http version got blocked, and the https version didn't. It eventually resolved itself a few days later, not really sure why or how.

TIL they are making a "Hebrew Hammer" sequel...really? I JUST remembered the first film existed during a wiki-binge.
Why? The first one was okay to watch as a goof, once.
I'm guessing nostalgia, as well that it will probably be released on "Crackle" the same people who gave us "Joe Dirt 2: Surprisingly the dumbest comedy sequel ever".
The Hebrew Hammer was really funny, I wouldn't mind watching it again, but I have no desire for a sequel. Hopefully it'll be funny, who knows?

TIL that the "slime bucket challenge" making it's rounds on Youtube is a trademarked term and the company responsible sends out takedown notices to anyone who does the challenge using slime that was purchased from another company, or that they made themselves. Regardless of if they actually link to the real charity or not. It's pretty much viral marketing disguised as a charity solicitation.
TIL Adult Swim Games is making the next "ToeJam and Earl" game...this one caught me by even more surprise than the Hebrew Hammer sequel.
This one might make @ThatNickGuy jealous.

I had one. A silver point. Got him free because he was a stray.
And then he was diagnosed with a heart condition and was on 3 pills a day for the last 9 years of his life, which was seven more than the vet had predicated. This is the little guy I still miss a lot.
He had a way with the ladies, too, was an excellent wing man. I went outside one evening to check on him and found him chatting up a young woman in her pyjamas from the hospital across the street.
I would love a ragdoll cat one day - they look so lovely!
Well, not in people's hands yet (that's not until next week), but preorders started on Fri.
Can't wait for the YouTube videos of people trying to bend them, drown them, shoot them with .50 BMG, blending them, etc.

Today I learned that people freak out over not having a headphone jack... me thinks earpods that plug into the lightning port might have better sound quality or connection, so its not that big of deal. #Optimism

i think the biggest issue is why they needed to remove something that was fine in order to sell proprietary headphones/adapters. also the issue of how do you charge while using said lightning headphones.

The only way this will be true is if you pay a hefty price premium. And if even "cheap" (sub-$100) headphones sound better in their lighting port versions, then that speaks more to how crappy the headphone jacks are on iPhones than to the superiority of lightning connectors.
And given that iPhones used to be rated as one of the better choices for quality output via headphone jack, I'm pretty sure most people hearing better quality over a lightning port with $50 headphones are just fooling themselves.
I don't use headphones to listen to music.
But I do use headphones with the little microphone in the cable to take calls, because I have loathed every bluetooth headset that I've tried.
