[PC Game] Halforums Gaming Nights - Preprep Thread

Alright, so I was thinking last night of setting up some sort of Halforums Gaming Nights we can possibly do once a week.

Would anyone be interested on Gaming Nights during the weekend? Alternating games every week and so forth? Like the nights when we played TF2 against Mann and so forth.

Alright, something to fill out

Friday and Saturday I wouldn't be available until after 11pm EST, but I'm usually free on Sunday-Tuesday nights.

Availability: Evenings on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, usually by about 6 or 7 PM my time (Atlantic).

Multiplayer Games:
-TF2
-Awesomenauts
-Left 4 Dead 1 & 2
-Gary's Mod (Note: The Murder game on that would be pretty fun, I think.)
-Loadout (though I've never played it)
-Monaco
-Portal 2 (Co-op only, but I guess that counts? I don't know. I've yet to play the co-op stuff, personally)

Availability: Evenings after 8 PM EST (usually)

Our PCs are kinda outdated for recent games, but I have the PS4 and I'm also up for more Cards Against Humanity games!

Until the end of August, my schedule is pretty much wide open. I'm on unemployment until I start back at school.

Games I own. I'm listing pretty much everything multiplayer from my steam list, I know some of them kinda suck:

Borderlands 1 and 2
Dead Island
Dungeon Defenders
Left 4 Dead 1 and 2
Path of Exile
Primal Carnage
TF2
Transformers, war and fall of cybertron
Age of Mythology EX
Aliens vs Predator 2010
Company of Heroes
War in the North
Magicka
Mortal Kombat 9, PC and PS3
Injustice: GAU, PC and PS3
Skullgirls
Warhammer 40K, DoW and DoW2, all expansions

I also have for the iPad:
Ticket to Ride
Small World 2
Both of which have online multiplayer capability. That may be fun using vent through the PC and playing on the pad.

Oh, and outside of steam:
Starcraft 2
Diablo 3
Demigod
League of Legends
Smite

The xlsx extension has been added to upload. I wonder how many can load it, though. You'd probably be better using Google Docs.[DOUBLEPOST=1406051977,1406051958][/DOUBLEPOST]And I'm game.

Old versions of excel can open xlsx files, and so can Open Office.

Office 2007 forward can open it natively, and microsoft offers a free plugin for 2003 that lets it open ***x files as well (docx, xlsx, etc)

Thanks for allowing the extension.

Now looking for more elaborate answers and more takers.

Can't organize much if people simply state, "I'm in". Do you have X game? What game nights are best for you? Etc...

Also, I'm trying to find games for 3+ people to play. 2 man coop is fun but beats the purpose of game nights.

Remember those nights of Man vs Mann? Killing Floor? Mass Effect 3? YEA!!![DOUBLEPOST=1406073578,1406073415][/DOUBLEPOST]Test

Updated.

A few notes :

- I added most games that were promising for coop of 3+. Check the draft and let me know if I missed anything. Sorry I'm tired. (4+ hours in my pool today!)
- Some games (like Civ 5) will be ignored, let's be honest... no one has 5 hours to play a game.
- Still looking for more peeps, don't be shy!
- Not surprisingly, Sundays look like the best time. Question is if afternoon or evening games would be better.
- Friday/Sats look also good. Supposedly.
- I thought more people had Mass Effect 3?

I'd like to start with some coop games.

Any suggestions?

TF 2 or Killing Floor for the first week? Or something else?

Updated the Excel sheet.

- Updated Ash, Bowielee and Dave. Everyone kindly check if your game selections are proper.
- Ordered the "possible" games by most purchased to least purchased.

A few question for folks :

- Do you see any games on this list that shouldn't be there? If so, why?
- Do you see any games on this list that isn't listed? Which ones?
- Is August 3rd suitable for people for the first HFGN? Would you prefer the afternoon or evenings?
- I'd recommend we go chill on the first night. So, install ahead of time TF2 (6 people or more), Killing Floor (6 people max), L4D2 (4 to 8) and Mass Effect 3 (4). Make sure they are ready to roll on game night please. Odds are we'll play TF2 with something else but we best be ready.[DOUBLEPOST=1406478683,1406478320][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, gonna name drop and see if these plebs want to join us.
