So, obviously, you built a fleet of jet-sized geese, and flew off with them to better climes?

It's that sort of dream but just slightly different that set another forum member on a quest to conquer the world with giant doom-versions of her spirit animal, you know.
The dream kind of gets fuzzy toward the end, but I remember something about the government getting interested in the geese, but I think I woke up after that.

I dreamed I was attending a lecture at a law school where the professor was speaking japanese. I could barely understand anything at all. Like, the occasional "atashi" and that was about it. As I walked home from class, a girl insisted on pressing up against my side, and we walked together. It was kinda nice. Then I woke up and found it was my cat pressing against me. That was kind of disappointing, but it helped a little to pet the cat.

I gotta say, my dreams over the last week or so have been really exemplary. I remember waking up one afternoon last weekend and thinking "Boy, this is some of the best TV I've ever experienced" and then tried to go back to sleep to get a continuation of the plot.

I just wish I could remember any of it.

Anyway, last night I dreamed I was back in High School, and a friend recruited me into a conspiracy to rescue a kidnapped kangaroo that had been taken by another student.

That is not indicative of the quality of my previous "post surgery" dreams, though.

Had a weird ass dream the other day. For some reason me and my wife were able to switch bodies for 2 hours. And I had to go to the bathroom afterwords. The closest bathroom was at a baseball field that I had to drive to. Once I got there the bathroom was amazing. It had nice fancy showers, private stalls, and fancy makeup stations. Well after all that I went into labor... So... Weird dream.

Came home a little early today and first thing I did was take a nap. Of course I had to have a weird-ass dream.

I dreamed I was somehow tasked with creating a pornographic Gong Show with an hour's notice to be viewed by all my grandparents who would be the judges / gongers.

Thank goodness it was only a nap and I woke up before I had to present it.

Did you call yourself "Chuck BareAss" in the dream?

A personal first for me.

Two people, man and woman, in white outfits, were doing something - I think it was cooking in a kitchen? - when they suddenly started bleeding all over.

Instead of being repulsed, they were reveling in it. Dancing, enjoying the blood, I think even licking it up.

Only thing was - the woman was @LittleKagsin...

So.. I had a weird dream... so one day a guard (think security guard) appeared down the street from me and no matter what I did the guard wouldn't let me pass. eventually the town started dwindling as everyone else could walk past that guard at will (but never came back once they did). Finally the town was almost empty but an idea struck me I saw a bicycle on the ground and decided to just ride that sucker full bore. Ran into the guard, bowled over him and them boom. I'm transported into the future (2033). and see the futuristic internet and futuristic games.. Halforums was there and you had like.. transportation meetups because transporting was a thing. and then I wrote a post about how I needed help figuring out what happened and that I got teleported through time. and then I woke up.

@WasabiPoptart made an appearance in my dream last night!

I had to design a poster for a charity event Wasabi was hosting, there was like eight people designing posters so it became a competition. However, everyone else got distracted and started throwing weights up onto the roof of the building (I don't even...), while I worked tirelessly on my design. Eventually Wasabi rounded up everyone and asked to see their finished work - mine was amazing. I had drawn this kick-ass dolphin jumping out of the water, and included all of the proper information (date, time, etc) and even went the extra mile to include a Hawaiian phrase. I don't know any Hawaiian, so this is news to me, but Wasabi was SO IMPRESSED by me, she picked my poster, which made everyone incredibly upset - ha, losers! Instead of retaliating though, I stuck my tongue out, then promptly got on a fishing trawler with Hasan Minhaj - who had just won an Oscar.

What a night.

About a month ago, I had a dream that we had a new daughter. I was in love with this little girl, and she was in love with me. It seemed like years passed in the dream. When I woke up and realized that she never existed, I'm not ashamed to admit it made me cry like a baby for losing someone who never even existed.

I don't think I need a psychologist to interpret that one. My daughter, my youngest child, just finished elementary school. I think it was my brain's way of processing the Puff the Magic Dragon moment.

I've had this one. It makes for a rough morning.

A couple nights ago I dreamed the HR lady at work came into my office and told me all my posters and stuff had to come down because they "violate copyright law."

"But, they're all licensed merchandise! Heck that one (gesturing to evil ewok) is signed, original artwork! Heck, if that doesn't meet the standard, all the stuff in the hall and other offices will have to come down, too!"

"I'm entirely happy with all the walls being completely bare." She replied frostily.

Dunno wtf that was all about. Told her about the dream the next day, she thought it was bizarre as well.

Every time something starts going on at work, I have a dream where I walk into Best Buy, where I worked when I was in high school 20 years ago, and my old boss and coworkers are STILL there and furious at me for missing so much work and tell me I better get on the floor and get busy if I want to keep my job... and for some reason I always do, and forget that I already have a real job.

I drempt last night that we were all into BSDM and would meet up regularly on Friday night at @stienman's place. We were starting to undress and pair off...

Then a doomweasel woke me up.

Damn you, @Doomweasel minion!
Hey, you shake the bed every time you have a dream like that and it wakes me up! Keep it up and I'll steal the contents of your nightstand! That will stop the shaking!

I don't know how to tell you this, DW, but the contents of the nightstand are supposed to shake.

Last night I dreamt that my wifes divorced cousin from PEI was dating the divorced mother of my daughters schoolmate. But none of them appear in the dream. The dream is centered around the rest of my wifes family building a cottage on her uncles waterfront while my daughters schoolmate cries like Achilles in her tent, because the cottage has no walls yet and she has to cry in a tent. And all the rest of the family is jumbled up, the cook is now the boat guy, the boat guy is now the military guy, etc. as we all get drunk building the cottage.

I dreamt last night that I was buying and trying on bikinis.

Now, I would never claim to have anything close to a bikini body, but let me tell you, I looked good in some of those swimsuits.

Had a wake-up-in-cold-sweat nightmare last night where the divorce hadn't happened, and I was explaining to my SO that I'd be blowing my savings into stupid shit, starting with a pair of noise-cancelling headphones and an HTC Vive, since I didn't care about our long-term. The conversation itself wasn't distressing, but my thought patterns in the dream and immediately after waking were those of back then, which was.

Managed to fall asleep after an hour (thanks for the records, fitbit), and dreamt that my ex, her partner, and her extended family (including like a dozen imaginary people) all moved into a house next door. Then my house turned into a labyrinthine mansion (that still had very similar rooms to the real one), which they all kept trespassing onto, which was distressing. Her dad cleaned my garage, which was nice. I forget snippets of the dream, but near the end I was staring at an east-Asian-looking woman watching Evangelion in a glass-walled projection room in the backyard.

I'd like to go back to not remembering my dreams as usual.

I've been out of school for a year now. When can I expect to stop having dreams about realizing I need to wake up early to start on a 10 page paper that's due later in the morning?

I had this weird dream where my cat had somehow found a baby leopard and we tried to take it to the vet. When we got there, a mountain lion casually strolled through the vet's exam room.

I dreamed I had gotten my novel published and was a GOH at a small convention, met one of my nerd crushes who was the cosplay GOH (sadly, I don't remember who it was), after panels and stuff were done we went out to dinner with the people running the con, got along pretty well, played Apples to Apples and then (a few drinks later) Cards Against Humanity, wound up hooking up for the Con. Then after six weeks of keeping in touch via email and what not, she just fucking ghosts on me.

Then a year later I get served with papers in a paternity suit.

Fuck you, dream.

I had a dream that a small planetoid was slowly approaching Earth, and we were all going to die. As it got closer, everyone was terrified of the Wave--a weather phenomenon that happened every 24 hours when your area of the planet passed closest to the approaching planetoid. We would watch the weather forecast to see when the Wave, which was a big red band on the radar, would pass over. I remember at one point seeing that low framerate radar animation apparently form a skull from the band before going back to the band. I was trapped outside downtown the first time it passed. I could see it coming as a brown wall of dust and debris. We had to get underground and behind some sturdy wall facing the wind. We saw people die in front of us, destroyed by debris. We knew we were all going to die. It was just a game of staying alive as long as possible.

Last night I had the most bizarre dream that I grabbed the wrong duffel bag at the gym or something, and had to walk home wearing a knee length pencil skirt and a big floppy sun hat. Also the "home" I was walking to was not my current home, but the first apartment I had after I moved out of my parents' house back in Colorado Springs.

Two of my young cousins apparently recognized me, and started chasing me, so I ran (somehow, despite barely being able to move my knees)... and as I cut through a copse of trees, there were dozens of cobras all there like some kind of Indiana Jones movie - some of them with multiple heads. Most of them leaped out of the way but the last one struck at me and bit my hand - but the fang went clean through the flesh between my thumb and forefinger, and the venom dripped out the tip of the exposed fang instead of going into my body.

So, I grabbed the snake's head, making sure it couldn't "let go" for a better bite, and started toward the hospital, and that's when I woke up.
