Had a shot of whiskey to "mourn" his passing.

And nothing of value was lost.

I'm sure there are many who will mourn that he has been "silenced," too.

I don't ever want to speak ill of the dead. I feel that if I don't have anything nice to say about someone after their passing, I shouldn't say anything.

So, Rush Limbaugh died. That's all I've got.

Condolences to his loved ones, but for the rest of us, the world is a far nicer place without him in it.

Who will the left cancel next? Can't believe he's being censored like this is this 1984?!?

I also normally try not to speak ill of the dead, but I think one of the greatest metrics of someone's life is how much help or how much hurt you've put into the world, and Rush most definitely put mostly hurt into the world.

I wonder who'll get his time slot on talk radio.

Denied the dangers of smoking. Died of lung cancer.

I almost feel bad that when I saw the name and then the Brazelton, I smiled.

Almost.

I'll speak ill of the dead. He was a piece of shit and the only sad thing about this is that it didn't happen decades earlier.

I'm not sure I agree with that. It's kind of sad that he didn't die in a shootout while he was holed up in a motel wearing nothing but chaps and a cowboy hat with a goat he insisted was his wife live on TV.

Presumably Mr. Limbaugh, the conservative Christianity touting man that he was, followed the greatest commandments, and loved others as he loved himself, so clearly he would want us to celebrate his death.

Yeah, he will just be replaced, probably by 2 more.

He died as he lived: a cancer on America.

I feel bad for laughing at that!

I am not going to shit on him, as I don't believe one should talk ill of the dead.

I will say though that the idea of him not being on the airwaves anymore makes me breathe a sigh of relief. Less people will get caught up in his regressive narrative.

I am glad that The Pretenders will be able to play "My City Was Gone" and get a huge ovation again.

This. Fuck that old piece of shit. I have no compunctions about speaking ill of the dead. Especially those as foul as Rush Limbaugh. Fuck him and everyone who loved him.
