Kags' Cosplay Thread

Possibly, but there's pictures in the NSFW Cosplay thread that are less NSFW than that one...and got less response than this, too :p

Again, I do want to state I mean it more as a "hey, you're hot" than a "you hussy" way. Most of the NSFW Cosplay thread isn't exactly NSFW or "slutty" or whatever, after all, but just "pretty girls in good costumes of sexy characters".

Bubble, nobody thought you were being disparaging, but then you specifically denied it, and now you're re-denying it, and you're just not helping. It's turning into the Emma Watson scene in "This is the End."

Fine, I'll just shut up and let whatever I say be misinterpreted as something creepy and/or aggressive and/or insulting and/or negative and/or a million other things. Sorry for trying to be clear in the message I was trying to get across, and sorry we don't all have your clear vision of what "everyone" thinks or gets out of a message.
If she doesn't access the NSFW forum, it's perfectly reasonable to assume she might think the NSFW cosplay thread is quite a bit wilder than it actually is- there's plenty of actual porn cosplay out there, which that thread isn't actually about (mostly). For those of us who pass by there regularly it might be clear that it isn't an insult. For people who don't go there, it can very easily be seen as a serious insult "hey girl, you keep posting like that, you'll end up in porn". Especially when the previous two posts - and many others in the thread - have actually been "oh god aroused" and the like. I'm sorry for wanting to quantify something when it's eminently possible to consider the content of my post akin to/equal to "I can fap to that". Which, you know, given the whole sexualisation of cosplay and the way some people behave towards cosplayers - you know, stalking, (verbal) abuse, all that - can be a serious issue beyond "creepy" and isn't what I meant.
I haven't seen "this is the end", by the way.

Just gonna throw out: Bubble, I understand you wanting to be clear and not be mis-interpreted, which is fine. I'm not offended. I promise. You're not a creep.

I imagine since I've been around for a while and have seen many things on this forum, GasBandit knows I can take a joke and is more comfortable teasing me. Besides, the amount that people have apologized to me in the past, he may know that, really, I'm okay with what is said in my thread.

(innocent and unsullied?? HA! If you knew the plans I have for future shoots. ;) )

DOUBLE. DOG. DARE you.

That's pretty exciting. In the meanwhile, feast your eyes on this.
Lesse, there's ivory, taupe, beige, coffee, alabaster, pink, cream, eggshell, salmon, khaki, sand, marble, linen...

New goal: To break all ya'll!
I won't discourage you, but I'll warn you that it would literally take years.

I was all "Oh it's Kags and she's posting pictures. Semi-gratuitous cleavage shot, mhmm, another semi-gratuitous cleavage shot, ok, and WHAT THE ... PAPERCRAFTED ANTLERS WHAT WHAT?"
It was like when I watched that carrot video earlier.

Did you use a grommet punch to add the eyelets to your jacket there? I used one when I had to add eyelets to Jenny's collar and belt.

Kags, I say this with the utmost sincerity: I work the second-largest festival of debauchery in the South. Bring it.

In all seriousness, it's always interesting to see how many different elements are involved in putting your costumes together... We've got suedework, grommets, and papercraft, which I can only assume is gonna be the skeleton for some epoxy action?

I wish! The eyelets I used are an odd size so my eyelet punch didn't work with them. I had to hammer them in old school. =^^=

HAAA! I did a thing!

Selfie after my warrior shoot yesterday. I have to be honest...I can't guarantee that I'll post the finished photos because I feel like it's not my best work, but we'll see.

Oh, also! I realized that I never actually showed the completed costume that I wore to an event a couple of weeks ago. Same outfit I wore for the shoot - sans antlers and warrior makeup.
