Can we stop quoting the horribly unfunny evil nightmare picture?
I have always found the fear of spiders to be weird, until my wife and I watched one of those "Walking with" documentaries that showed how our ancestor species were hunted by giant spiders. Obviously the ones who knew to be afraid survived to pass on their genes and there's really been nothing to cause that instinct to be weeded out.
My lack of fear makes me a defect. I can handle spiders--zombies scare the shit out of me. I'm glad for which one's real and which one isn't.

I think that would definitely scare the crap out of me. But a couple of spiders don't bother me much. I think it's more the idea of an infestation like that: knowing they're everywhere constantly.
Meh. This is why we have vacuum cleaners.

That was my exact response to seeing that picture.
Then again, I currently live in a half finished basement, so it's already like Kingdom of the Spiders down there anyway.
