For those wanting a human to provide sex, affection, and general convenience, you may want to look into live-in submissives (who usually offer most/all of those). Mutually beneficial relationships are a fantastic thing to have in life.

Yeah, but they still have to agree to it. That's such a hassle.
And I've seen some examples. But there's still no dedicated "Pixar: After Dark" division or anything like that. Just the independent folks.

I tell you, the more time goes by, the more I think about it, the more a sexbot seems a sound investment. Can't get it pregnant, no baggage, no diseases, no in-laws, no vengeful exes, cheating isn't an issue, the above reasons, etc.
I'm sitting here giggling thinking about how weird lag would be.

When sexbots become a reality someday - I wonder if celebrities, pornstars, and prostitutes will be able to copyright replicated models of themselves?

Actually, any product that bears someone's likeness (be it a poster, an action figure or a sex bot) would already be applicable to existing copyright law. Indeed, some porn starlets have already licensed pocket pussies to be made that supposedly replicate the appearance of their own real vagina.
Probably, but it'll be pirated anyway. I suppose THAT is the real issue with this sort of thing: what's to keep someone from making a sexbot of an ex to ether keep for themselves or to use as a way to make incriminating pictures or something. Because really, once you can make a perfect copy of someone physically, we're going to need to rely on some other sort of identification to confirm identities. Otherwise you'd have people using these things to frame people for crimes or such.

Not only are there already licensed "reproductions" of famous parts, but you can also buy kits to image yourself for that special someone (to leave behind before a lengthy trip, perhaps), so they need never go without your personal touch.

Been divorced 3 times. Have trouble finding a women that isn't high maintance. And most women I met don't cook or clean very good. And far as the companionship it's all about me myself I type of women out there. Oh it's not to bad the first few months. But when the newness wares off then comes their true colors. Being in high volume sales I've met a lot of men who fell the same way I do about women. I will be the first man in line to buy a sexbot just as soon as they can cook,clean,run,and play tennis. For what Ive seen on the internet they will have the AI work good in about 1 more year. Their skin looks amazing. I hope to see myself in about 3 to 4 years maybe if I'm luck enough having a android sexbot giving me a full body massage about an hour after eatting a 5 star dinner that she cooked.

I am not sure I would want a sexbot that cooks and cleans and massages. It's like they always say, the more an appliance does, the more there is to break and the more you're out when it does so. I mean, I wouldn't want to buy a microwave that has a vagina attachment.
Or to be less vulgar about it, consider the combo DVD/VCRs of yesteryear. When one or the other part of it breaks, you're out the remaining part too.
