So you guys may or may not be familiar with this image, titled "How to Adult":

I was thinking about it and started wondering what its source was, so I googled "how to adult comic". Long story short, I ended up spending the last two hours reading porn comics.

So I'm looking into redecorating (because I'm moving)

First: minor whine: I've been looking at a website of a chain of paint/wallpaper stores in the area - 45 shops, pretty established. There's a small pop-up on the front page that they're closing shop due to a take-over, and the next few months they'll still be of service and having a "closing sale". The rest of their site is completely accessible, and their forms still work and everything. Still, I had the feeling something was a bit...Off. So I checked. The take over, and closing down sale? Yeah, that was 2014. -_-

Second: anyone any recommendations between wallpaper, paint, different types of paint/paper/etc? Price ranges all over the place and I just don't always seem to see why. Non-woven vs woven, paper vs other... I'm especially a bit lost wrt the walls in my (new) bedroom: they're concrete. Part of the reason to go for paper instead of paint is to strengthen the plasterwork, but since there is none... Is it a good idea to just paint? Would that leave any impurities or drilled holes too visible? Should this go in a separate thread in the Advice board? :p

Isn't this why you got a girlfriend?

No no, she'll decide whatever I think is technically best or most fitting is wrong and what we'll actually do, but I still need to first do the legwork :p
So fake it. Just pick one at random (pretend you're fighting orcs, roll a d20!)

But actually, I'd say if you aren't good at wallpapering, then don't wallpaper. I'm not good at wallpapering. I don't like wallpaper.

I personally hate wallpaper. It's a pain in the ass to put up and take down. I prefer paint, because it's also easy to fix/change. Just save the sample cards.
