Funny Pictures Thread. It begins again

The new line represents how your gut will dangle over your belt if you eat there regularly.

Those commercials are such bs. I've never seen two happy, well-groomed women in Jean jackets eating french toast in the middle of the afternoon.

Interestingly, I've sat across from two happy, well-groomed women (though not in jean jackets) at Denny's. A couple of my classmates love going there, it's cheap and they have WiFi. I watched them eat hash browns and pancakes at noon, while they studied for a geology test.

where is that? Cnuckistan?
we have them here in the frozen north of Minnesota.
They are EXTREMELY rare in Canada. There's one in Kelowna, BC, but that city is a bit weird with having a few other "American" chains that are nowhere else in Canada as well (like Carl's Jr.).

The IHOP in Wausau was closed for a while after I moved up here. Apparently the owners didn't want to pay the franchise fee, and tried to go at it as a independent breakfast-themed restaurant.

It didn't work. They sold out and it went back to a IHOP a year later.

The IHOP that is near me is horrible. Understaffed, slow service. It even closed for a year, reopened under new management and still had the same problems.

I have yet to find an IHOP that was better than a local diner/restaurant. I can name 5 kickass places to eat breakfast within range of my house, and IHOP wouldn't even be in the same league.

A good local diner most likely beats an IHOP. A bad local diner, and I've been to some pretty lousy ones, is decidedly worse than your average IHOP.

Local diners are always so plain Jane. I haven't found one I'd call massively superior to ihop, and they're usually more expensive to boot.

I don't really go to IHOP because I'm blessed enough to live in a city with three Original Pancake Houses, which despite being a national chain, is the best breakfast restaraunt there is and I will hear nothing to the contrary.
