This is all the fun of waiting for a mid-night release without the horror of being outside! Mid-night release people can be weird sometimes.

So, I originally couldn't stand the look of Transformers Prime so I never gave the show a shot but now, having just done so....I kind of dig it. Jeffrey Combs as a cranky, mad scientisty Ratchet is definitely the highlight for me.

Hnnn, Naga naga naga naga!!!!! I also can't wait to see Pabu either. I loved seeing the new fighting animations, it was all so beautiful. The new music was a definate surprise, but a very good one - can for sure see the 20's influence in this series.
I absolutely hate following TV shows, I almost always wait until a DVD comes out...but..I might have to make an exception for this.

Well I just finished watching the first two episodes and I must say that I really enjoyed them. The music and the animation was done magnificently. I was a bit concerned how my mind would handle all of the technological upgrades that have arisen but for the most part it all fit nicely into my mindset given the amount of years that have passed.
The battle scenes were also nicely done. And that is something I am very grateful for since the fight scenes in the original have always stood out in my mind as some of the better fight scenes I have seen in an American made cartoon show.
Although I must admit I am a bit disappointed in one aspect. I don't usually watch cable television since most of it is garbage. If there is a show I want to watch I will buy the DVD set when it comes out but this show will be the second show that I am actually making time to watch as it comes out and so I will not have the luxury of watching it at my own pace. I am now forced to wait for each new episode to come out so slowly.
But in all honestly isn't the complaint of having to wait patiently (or in my case not so patiently) the highest praise someone can give a show?

Korra reminds me of Toph. Maybe that's why Lin isn't a fan.

No he is not. Nobody gives Lin Bei Fong a run for any money, be it hers or anyone else's.
Love the new episode, though now I fear that fan-girls will split into teams of "Team Bolin" and "Team Mako". Don't lie, we all fear this to happen.
That do it with everything, even Last Airbender (Kataang/Zutara...). So, I'm not to concerned about it, besides all the tweens are going to be hopped up on Hunger Games to care much, I think the ship war will happen somewhat after the fact.

When fandoms fight over who so-and-so should end up with. So now in Korra, I'm only assuming here since there are only two episodes out, the war: Bolin&Korra vs. Mako&Korra. Oh, but wait, they need couple names. Borra vs. Kako.

You're just now worrying about what has already begun? The Borra vs Makorra fight has been building on Tumblr for a while now (that's not even counting the Korra/Bolin/Mako OT3 'shippers *shudder*) Some of the cosplayers I follow are more than a little 'ship-crazy, and I hope it doesn't get much worse.
Oh, you know it's going to get worse, MUCH worse. I mean, with those cosplayers in particular. =^^=
