I'm annoyed with my car. I'm calling my guy tomorrow to see if I can bring it in, but until then I have to puzzle over this weird groaning noise my brakes are making and the squeaking noise that occurs when my wheels are moving. I JUST got a brake job and other stuff done, too. I'll find out what's wrong tomorrow, but I hate waiting. Until then, there's always the improved bus system.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

822 to fix my car. Money I hardly have.

My favorite cousin, who lived with my family for a year 15 years ago and is my mothers god-son, is in jail for sexually molesting my 11 year old niece, who is my god-daughter.

Sometimes there is no good conclusion in a situation.

If he's guilty, I hope he gets what he deserves.

Am I the only one who uses this thread anymore? Oh well.

Rant: For the love of Fuck! I'm over her. It's not even just something I say. I seriously have moved on. I mean, if she wandered into my room one dark and stormy night, I'm not saying I'd kick her out. But I am seriously not interested in pursuing her for a relationship in any way shape or form anymore.

Then why in the hell did I just throw up when I saw on Facebook that she's in a relationship now?
Been there, just started talking to my last ex yesterday, but every time she mentioned the guy she's with now I got a little :( for a minute. Talking to her isn't weird but knowing there's someone else more important in her life now...I dunno, it's hard to describe.

As for my manbaw, I met a pretty awesome girl at Dragoncon and will likely never see her again. I was also getting along really well with another girl who I've known since I got out here, pretty much, but not only is she taken (and her current boyfriend is an awesome dude), but she's my roommate's ex. So I'm trying to put that one out of my mind as soon as possible.

It's the feeling of being replaced... the feeling that you are so disposable that she was able to find someone that was able to fulfill all of your niches with her and may in fact be happier with that person. That you not a unique person, and never were, and the realization of this hurts. That's the mean main reason it hurts so much for me to talk to my friend: She doesn't understand why I'd feel like that or that she's been doing things to MAKE me feel that way. It's a lot better than it used to be, but it's still there.

My advice? Ether stop being around her completely or get used to the pain. It's not going to go away for a long time unless you can see something in yourself that makes you better than the person who replaced you, or you find happiness with someone else. Whatever you do, don't dwell on your insecurity like I do or your going to end up in a vicious cycle of self loathing.

I have about 10 painful bumps on my tongue with new ones growing each day. I think I'm allergic to my new toothpaste... so I stopped using it.

My left hand smells like a mix between old cigar smoke and metal. No, I did not have a couple of stogies with Megatron last night.

I know that feeling all too well, and I hope you get through it as I have.

Those might be fever blisters. Those can be painful... I tend to get them if I don't brush my teeth regularly.

That's just the thing. I brush my teeth regularly (kinda paranoid about cavities) but these tiny tongue pimples keep showing up! Some are infected tastebuds I think, but then others are on the sides of my tongue.

I really think it's a toothpaste allergy (although this has never happened) because I used the last bit of toothpaste from my last tube last night and it feels the same and not worse.

I've had them before one at a time when I ate popcorn with a lot of salt or had a bag of candy (CURSE YOU HALLOWEEN) but to have 20ish over the past few weeks? Ugh...

If they are forming along the sides of your tongue where it meets the teeth, it's probably fever blisters. You don't have to stop brushing for them to show up... it can happen with illness as well. You using mouth wash? That helps a lot. Still, if your concerned about it, go see a doctor.

Yikes, Krisken. I don't really see an good ending, but I hope you find it anyway.

V: too bad you didn't, that'd have been fun, no?

Thanks everyone for your support. Part of me wants to not believe her and give him the benefit of the doubt, but she's not the type of girl to make things up. Since his father shot himself when he was 4, we're worried he might kill himself. I guess I want to support my niece by not treating her any differently and believing her, and support my cousin by trying to get him the help he needs.

The whole thing is really rough for my sister since they've been best friends for years.

On, once again, a completely insignificant level compared to some others here (I know my life is technically really pretty good, damn it. Depression doesn't listen to reason):

Some may remember my blood pressure was waaayyy too high last year around December - causedm ostly by emotional issues and stuff. It's been on the rise againn, quite steadily, for the past week and a half - nicely coinciding with "since I admitted to having feelings for, and being shot down by, one of my best friends". I really hope it'll blow over; my BP's at 15.8 over 13.7 at rest right now. :-/

My boyfriend and I are both flu-stricken and neither of us can sleep. He is feverish and feeling like crap (so why can't he sleep?). I don't think I have a fever anymore (I am on the way to getting better, he is in the worst of it), but I have an outrageous sinus headache and I'm still wheezy and coughing. Now I'm hungry. I JUST WANT TO SLEEEEEEP ARRRRRGH.

I'm sorry y'all can't sleep. :( Sometimes, no matter how weary and terrible you feel, illness does that. It's hard to get comfortable. Plus, I don't know about you, but for me, weird and disturbing dreams accompany a fever.

Whenever I sleep with my girlfriend (read: actually sleep) I always get sore in the morning and wake up several times in the night. Am I just not used to sharing a bed?

Probably. Same experience here. I never used to sleep more than 2 hours at a time when the fellow and I started sleeping in the same bed. No problems now... except when I take all his covers. :p He's started using his own blanket when he comes to visit. (sorry, jake)

I'm the opposite. I can't sleep without him in the bed. When he stays up a bit later than me, I stay awake until he gets there.

RANT: I FORGOT MY DAMN LUNCH BECAUSE KODO WOULDN'T STOP MEWING AT ME WHEN I TRIED TO LEAVE THIS MORNING AAAAAA I SHOULD HAVE EATED HIM

I had this exact same problem for a while. That coupled with me almost never being able to go back to sleep.

Always had similar problems. She likes to cuddle. I like to lie on my stomach and stretch out.

I like to cuddle a bit too but not when I'm trying to SLEEP.

Plus my bed is kinda small (only a twin) and I'm a lanky dude. I needs ta STRETCH OUT.

Is she a succubus? Have you ever asked? You know, a lot of people get all excited about the prospect of a relationship without proper vetting, and it leads to things like this.

She doesn't have any sort of succubus song that I've noticed, that I could turn against her by singing backwards.

So probably not.
