Ok, I thought the Big Chungus memes were a little odd... but nothing prepared me for... Scrimmy Bingus and the Crungy Spingus.

I thought the weirdest thing about the Chungus memes was that was a word for all intents and purposes invented by Jim Sterling years ago.

God dammit Ohio, stop being such an embarrassment.

Ohio State University is trying to trademark "THE". They are trying to trademark a definite article. The only definite article in English, as far as I know. They are trying to trademark a fundamental part of grammar. This so damn stupid.

Is this an attempt to distract from their sexual abuse scandal?

I didn't know where else to put this:

A medical study of endometriosis.... But the focus was on determining if women suffering from it are more attractive than the general population? Please tell me this is fake.

Ok I get that it's a study, and data were collected and analyzed...but to what end? What inspired the study?

Some day, you guys are going to discover that overconsumption of pumpkin spice lowers IQ and empathy, and it's going to explain soooo much :p

Unless CNN is just reporting based solely on the Tweeted announcement. Wouldn't be the first time that a major news outlet didn't bother fact checking, especially such a minor story.

EDIT: Walmart tweeted about it, too. Kinda unlikely both the Hormel and the Walmart twitters were both hacked.

EDIT the second: Pumpkin spice Spam was originally proposed by Hormel back in 2017 as a joke on their Facebook page.

I want to try it. All of the spices in "pumpkin spice" are already used in ham recipes. I don't know which ones are in Spam, but it's not uncommon to use cloves, nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon in ham. So, really, pumpkin spice Spam is just going to be Spam with extra sugar, and probably more cinnamon and ginger than usual.

I'm shocked they thought they could convince people to buy it, but it makes more sense now that I know it's only going to be sold online, and not in stores.

Most of our ice cream containers have like a safety seal thing on them here. Is that not a thing in the states?
