Random Video Game Crap

No kidding. You can be Lucio and heal 10k “70% of team damage” and boop three people off a ledge, but then D.Va gets a quintuple kill and the rest of your team forgets you exist.

NEW DEPONIA-there's a new Deponia game, its on sale, I got it because I love the Deponia franchise and always wanted more-TIME FOR ANOTHER RUFUS MANEUVER!

Yeah it...it came out 3 years ago I embarrassingly admit, it just flew under my radar until JUST now! Either way-ONWARDS TOWARDS TIME TRAVEL NONSENSE AND PUZZLES OF VARYING DIFFICULTY!

Fatshark made a 1 year anniversary video for Vermintide 2...

... entirely comprised of WFB miniatures.

Welp, there goes the budget for the next 3 years I guess

I am now, officially, an Ironbreaker of legend in Vermintide 2. Completed all levels of the campaign on Legend difficulty, got the shiny black and gold armor to prove it. Got the sweet crown-and-beard helmet. Got the epic glowy skins for my dual hammers. Only thing that's left is to get a nice glowy skin for my drakefire pistols, and I'll officially be uber-leet.

As part of the 1 year anniversary of Vermintide 2, they added in a special game mode that is basically just a big drunken pub crawl through the ruins of Helmgart. It's not a challenging level at all, but it's fun... and it adds a lot of new banter/dialog.

Apparently, 45 minutes of new banter/dialog.

And here's all 45 drunken minutes of it.

Saltzpyre, the witch hunter captain: "I never wanted to be a witch hunter! I wanted to be a STEAM TANK DRIVER! WOO WOOOOOOO"

It's also funny how much MORE Scottish the elf gets when she's drunk.

All this time I've been listening to you guys play, I actually thought one of the game modes was to guard the "salt spire." I didn't realize it was actually the name of one of the characters.

Hah, no, indeed... The 5 main characters of the Vermtide series (often referred to as the "Ubersreik 5") are:

Markus Kruber, the human mercenary
Kerillian, the elven wayfinder
Victor Saltzpyre, the witch-hunter captain
Bardin Goreksson, the dwarven ranger
and Sienna Fuegonasus, the Bright Wizard.

My one persistent gripe with the games is that all 5 can't be played at once, each mission only brings 4 of the 5.
