Random Video Game Crap

1) *wonder
2) This is the first I think I've heard of this. Do tell. Provide a link if possible.
GRAH-always mix up wander and wonder I do.

Learned about it from on of the concept artists of the game at Nittanycon, twas a project that fell through years ago.

The Superman one is the "Untitled science fiction game", which you can tell through one of the pictures. It was where you'd start out as Superman with his powers diminished, but over the course of the game you'd regain your powers Metroid style to the point where you'd be super powered space travelling Superman your supposed to be.

I'm really REALLY hoping they do a cosmic angle with the game, Superman games have a tendency to box the man of steel in. With Spidey and Bats it works as they rely on a city scape to travel, but Supes doesn't have said restrictions.

No way. I want Metropolis. Leave cosmic stuff for later games. Hell, do a sequel entirely set on Apokolips. But leave Superman properly grounded for at least the first one.

Compromise: HALF-Metropolis, HALF-cosmic space shit. As long as he has a telepathic battle with space-dogs who were actually trying to prevent a suicide I'm GOOD. And oh yeah, that shit is CANON and its one of my favorite issues.

I think Nick is right. Focus is better than splattering all over. Nothing can be as bad as Superman 64, but there's no reason to make Assassin's Creed: Revelations either.

The second half of the video, "Lightning Round", takes a rather unexpected direction after starting off at The School.

To be fair there is only two doors out of that building but yeah, the bit was gold.

A few windows you can crouch jump out of too though I suppose. Or if you're me, attempt to crouch jump out 20 times before you actually do it right there by removing much of the benefit of doing it in the first place.

Fuck TinyCo.

The Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow event finally ended, and good fucking riddance. Any game that can put one player weeks behind another in spite of performing the same actions in the same way at the same moment is just broken. One should not live at the mercy of the RNG. "Oh, just build a farm. Then you're certain to get the drops!" some say. Really? What makes you so sure the RNG won't still only drop one of that item with 20 buildings like it did with four? And then I've wasted all the available space with nowhere to put the prize ladder items the game requires me to place in order to advance. Which requires drops from missions I can't complete because the items I need to run the missions can't be crafted because the drops from the building are behind a broken RNG.

This is a mobile game, isn't it?

I think you just described every mobile game, ever. They're all like that, and they're all shit. But don't worry, mainstream gaming is doing it's best to become just as shit.

Okay, so I'm house-bound for the next 2 weeks. Any suggestions for games I can play using only my right hand?
I mean, besides most strategy, I guess, I'm aware I can go play Civ or Total War, and that those are perfectly playable without keyboard shortcuts (Starcraft, not so much :p).

Girlfriend Simulator. It's been a while, but I remember it taking up a lot of time in my teens.

The Divinity: Original Sin series only requires one hand. Mostly on the mouse, but sometimes panning the view with the arrow keys is useful, as are a few keyboard shortcuts. All the combat is turn-based, so quick and accurate coordination isn't required.

Darkest Dungeon is entirely playable one handed/mouse alone.

Cities: Skylines is playable with only the mouse, albeit slightly inconveniently without quick keyboard shortcuts.

I haven't started it yet, but Doki Doki Literature club looks to be a visual novel, so that should be cake one-handed :p

I was wondering about the D:OS line. Most sort-of-actionny-RPGs more or less need a hand on the keyboard to enjoy....might give them a try, than.

Guys, the greatest thing ever has just happened to me.

HEALING TREE HEALTH started following me! Healing Tree Health, you guys! This is huge. I feel like I've finally "made it" on Twitter. God, I'm crying, I'm so happy.

Oh, and Jim Sterling followed me, too.

That's all right, I guess.

EA gets the most downvoted comment in reddit history.

It was less than -340,000 as of about an hour ago.[DOUBLEPOST=1510597982,1510597831][/DOUBLEPOST]And yeah, any of you hosers what buys the new battlefront game is part of the problem, and just as much to blame :p

This shit's exactly why I refuse to pay full price for any AAA game. The pre-order bonues, the overpriced DLC, the season passes, the microtransactions, the loot boxes.

A $60 is no longer a $60 game. They bleed customers dry with this bullshit.
