Whats for Dinner?

Some stores had a line waiting for venison. My local one didn't, so first in line...
Same here. I'll detail the whole adventure over in the minor victory thread, but suffice it to say I was the only person waiting at my store, too.
...no pictures, though. I ate it already.

My wife and I got the last two in our local Arby's. There wasn't a line--we got there at almost 2pm. But we were lucky :)

They actually gave her 2 steaks in hers. I heard the cashier asking the manager in spanish if they had enough and he said they didn't have enough for 4 because the people behind us wanted them too. We got 3 steaks in 2 burgers and the people behind us got nothing. heh

Clearly this was due to your white privilege, and not a confluence of random events*.

*(yes, I'm not being serious, just riffing on that other thread)

Man, Skip the Dishes is killing me.

You mean I can have 80% of the food in this city delivered for less than the cost of normal pizza delivery?

JESUS. HELP. ME.

Currently waiting for my 4 piece chicken and taters from Mary Brown's.

UberEats moved into our old neighborhood about a month and a half before we moved. The convenience is great, but it always felt a little lazy having McDonald's delivered. Great for stoners, though.

That's the problem. 90% of the time, not having the convenience would just make me cook something or eat some leftovers or something. Now, I can spend 13 dollars and have delicious fried chicken couriered directly onto my ass in 20 minutes without leaving my couch.

Almost makes you want to hurt your leg again.

Almost.

You're lucky they apparently aren't near me. Otherwise... yikes. Laziness to the extreme for me!

It was a bit of a search for me, too, but I ended up finding it in a British expat/specialty shop. Maybe try something like that?

Amazon has it too but only in bulk afaik, so you'd have to make a wager on how much black pudding you can consume in a reasonable span of time.

Played Irish music at the Garryowen pub in Gettysburg. Guess what they had?

Everything was pretty much like I had in Ireland. But no mushroom :( And in Ireland, I got half a grilled tomato, and not a slice. But it was the yum.

That said, I think that was some of the best soda bread I've ever had in my life.
