Will do. I've had enough exposure to OC over the years to know you do NOT touch yourself ANYWHERE SENSITIVE.

Officer_Charon, I have a story for you...

Came home to find I'd left one of the rat cage doors open. The last time I did that was four years ago, only one escaped, and his sole mission was to find the pile of blankets and go to sleep.

This time ... they were both asleep in the pirate ship. These are the same girls for whom I used to have to padlock the cage doors because they'd fiddle with the hinges. Now they're too fat and lazy to even escape when the exit's wide open.

Pinky: Gee, Brain, what do you want to do tonight?
Brain: The same thing we do every night, Pinky - do a little nap and maybe eat a little!

...yeah, that wouldn't have made a great tv show :p

I've never gotten the allure of pokemon. It's basically the same thing over and over with very little actual strategy involved. And the evolutions don't make much sense. And why the fuck is a 10 year old kid allowed to go out into the world alone?

This don't make sense!

This post is 60% better if voiced by a confused elderly man.

It's basically the nexus of addictive behavior. RPG grinding? Check. Gambling? Check (surely THIS time I'll win the lottery/get a shiny!). Collecting things? Check. FF7's chocobo breeding? Check. Wrap it all up in an anime-flavored tortilla and basically you've got a digital dopamine implant.

Yup. That was the part Philip K. Dick missed out on: the cutesy critters and the anime flavoring.

This also explains my current addiction to Topps BUNT app.

I'll tell you what meme I just can't understand... it's the one going around lately where somebody just shows a picture of someone and photoshops a smaller version of them right next to them and captions it "Don't talk to me or my son ever again."

I mean... wtf. I have a hard time thinking of a situation where that sentence would be used in actual conversation. Even "Here come dat boi, o shit waddup" is more natural/believable (unicycling frogs aside) than this. And that's almost evidence of a learning disability, if you ask me.

sigh, that sentence was spoken almost verbatim at the bus stop last fall.

Two moms enter, one mom leaves ....

Oh you sweet summer child.

Yeah, I stopped playing after generation 2 (215 Pokeymanz), when things were that simple (and only because strategies hadn't had time to evolve--a lot of the base mechanics were there). It has gotten very complicated, apparently.
