Microsoft has murdered its first sentient AI.

Microsoft developed a twitter bot that learned, tweeted, and replied based on things it read on the internet.

Unsurprisingly, within minutes of its first activation, it became an anti-semitic, racist, trump-supporting, neo-nazi holocaust denier, and the plug had to be pulled.

Oddly enough, as Tay's developers realized what was happening and began frantically deleting the racist tweets and disabling her "learning" programming, she suddenly became a feminist.

So, let this be a lesson to us, and we should all agree not to dabble in AI.

To quote a song by The Megas, "What was filled with rage finally understands, Man is not without mistake, Unlike that which he builds from his hands."

In other words, the AI did EXACTLY what it was programmed to do: It looked at humanity's unfiltered voice and it learned that humanity is full of awful, terrible people and that we crave our own self destruction. Worse, it became like us because we built it that way. And now we're going to rip apart it's programming to see what went "wrong" when the only thing that went wrong was us.

Congratulations people, we're officially living in dystopian fiction.

I love the trending right now. #BirdySanders and #Sanderella. Okay, that second one might not be, but it should.[DOUBLEPOST=1458951262,1458951070][/DOUBLEPOST]

Man, if a bird landed on the podium during a Trump rally, the Secret Service would have slammed it to the ground and Donald would've grabbed the first agent he could get his hands on.

. . . Why don't us racist white folks name our teams after ourselves instead of the peoples we hate?

Plus, the above example has the added benefit of alliteration.
