Looked up King's College to see if they have programs for January. They don't, but what's even worse is I discovered the application deadline was the 15th, a mere 6 days ago. I'd already thought I missed the deadline weeks ago.

Which means I could've at least applied for this September and didn't.

Which means I don't have a fucking clue what to do with my life or whatever pathetic joke of a life I have.

Take care of Alyx and her kid, write, take some on line courses if you feel the need to, keep doing yoga, get a new interest going, prepare for next semester, continue job?

Give them a call? January is a ways off and it's possible that if speak to come one in person they would allow a late application. Can't hurt to try :)

Amazon refunded me, and didn't require me to send them back because of the hazards of broken glass. 6 free martini glasses is a whole lot better than only getting 6 of 8 paid-for martini glasses :D
Amazon has been surprisingly good to me about such things. One time it was totally my fault and they were super helpful.

My son royally fucking pissed me off just now. He is having a birthday party with friends and my wife is caravaning them to it (paintball--turning 12). So we got window markers and wrote silly things all over the car. Of course this was the most horrible thing I could do. I'm the worst dad ever. Really pissed me off because it was supposed to be fun, and this kid has a history of taking things that are supposed to be fun and acting like they're torture.

You're going to make me starting thinking of you as Donald Duck, aren't you?

If he's gonna get pissy about it no matter what, might as well put on the troll pants and really make it embarrassing. Who knows, maybe he'll catch on and tone it down.

Never fails. Those adorable petri dishes passed their germs along to me, and now I'm sick after two weeks of school. I don't get to do anything I planned for my birthday. Boo.

When coming back from canada into the US in buffalo, there are three bridges. Don't worry abou which one to take. You're gonna take the wrong one.

When you get to the bridge there will be multiple lanes. Again, don't worry about which one to take. You're going to take the wrong one. No matter what. No exceptions.

Stressing out over September arriving. I'm gonna have to juggle school, my son, and all the drama of still living at home with my parents. I'm scared that at some point in the school year I'm going to have another break down and end up in the hospital again...

Do you have any help other than your parents?
