Holy moly. Sometimes being an adjunct for a community college pays off! Personal copy of full Adobe CC $10/year.

I was still using CS3 for Fade, which I paid like 700 dollars for. So you can imagine I was in no hurry to upgrade.

Getting my drink on with my sister before we board our last flight down south!

DO IT.

They did a lot of different things this season and brought a special guest or two.

Today I spent the day with a very special friend. He's 17 and has severe autism, he's also one of the reasons that I can keep a bright outlook on the world (no matter what humanity can show of it's ugly side). This kid, all 6ft 7in and 280 pounds of him, has the ability to show unconditional love to those around him. He is a great reminder that there is always a brighter side to whatever is going on in our lives. He is the type of kid that will always greet you with a smile and a hug (and believe me, you know you've been hugged) no matter what type of day that he's had or you've had. I took a picture of him today that I knew immediately that it had a title, I may post that picture some time later, but for now, I'll share a picture of him with Santa on the Texas State Railroad presentation of The Polar Express. (The woman with her hand on his back is my wife)

My first car was $1. It was probably worth closer to $2000, but it was really a de facto gift and the $1 was for bookkeeping.

My first car cost $350--an old ford van with all of the seats taken out the back and lined (floors and walls) with shag carpeting. heh.

My 2nd car was free--my roommate was going to let it get towed because he had out of state plates and he was too lazy to handle it because his girlfriend had a car and she drove him around, and it had a few issues neither of us could afford to fix. I told him "heck, just give me the car, and write up a sales receipt for $65--because that's what the apartment complex is going to charge you if they tow it."

I drove that car for like 18 months before it crapped out. Not bad for free :D

In college I had a Dodge Diplomat. I would get angry when somebody would call it a K-Car. If they were riding with me, I would spin the back tires. "NO K-CAR CAN DO THAT!"

I swear that Gordon is driving my old car in Gotham.

First car: 1969 Pontiac Tempest with a V8 and lots of torque. I could get the speed up to about 120 mph in a quarter mile. Oh, about $500.

I've never had a car, probably never will or at least I never will drive one. It's something I just can't do. I can't judge distances, I get lost very easily. Basically, I have no sense of direction. I can't even park a car in gta.

First car, 1984 Buick Skylark. When I sold it, the power locks worked randomly (yeah, I don't know) and a day after selling it the driver's side window fell inside the door.

First car: 1987 Blue Plymouth Reliant. K-Car. Known to be biodegradable.

Paid: $400
Cranky had one of those.
We had a Valiant.
My first car was a black 4-dr '89 Mazda 323 5spd that shamelessly tried really hard to look like a BMW, but the best 0-60 time I ever managed with it was 13.5 seconds.

It was you! YOU framed those poor kids from new york in the Buick Skylark, after you robbed the store and shot the clerk in your 1969 Pontiac Tempest with positraction and metallic mint green paint!

Since we're now naming make and model, I guess I'll chime in and say my first vehicle (The $1 one) was an 84 Mazda B2000 pickup. Like this, but beige.

My very first car was a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, which was an old car my parents owned that they kept so I could use when I got my drivers license. It looked exactly like this:

It had A/C and a radio, and power windows... assuming your idea of power windows is powering yourself with a hand crank. And that was it. It was also huge, and get terrible mileage, and I loved that car.

It also saved my life when a speeding SUV suddenly swerved into the oncoming lane and hit me head on. The entire front end of the car accordioned, but I was fine.

I'm not sure of the reference, but the car was a sun-faded light metallic green color. Only places you could see the original color was under the doors, hood and trunk.

My Cousin Vinnie

First car i owned was a 1973 Honda CB350. I paid coincidentally $350 for it.

The first car I've ever owned is my current 2009 Toyota Corolla, which I paid under MSRP brand-new because the auto industry was desperate at the time.

But before that, I became the co-owner of Mr. Z's first car, a 1994 2-door Chevy Cavalier we nicknamed "The General" (as in "The General Lee") because it had a habit of getting into trouble and going off-roading. Both of those were usually the fault of Mr. Z's driving.
