Not able to edit posts?

It just freezes up when i try to go in and edit a post I made. This is with a blank edit reason, and also when I fill the reason. Wanted to give a heads up.

I am using default ui

mod edit: Interesting. It works for me. Anyone else having this issue?

Yup. I couldn't edit a post I made earlier either.
And now I can...huh on Grey.
Back to default- yup still works. Disregard.

I love how editing works around here, actually, it's all quick and fluid.

I am able to edit just fine. And I must say I do love the quick edit

trying again, same issue. Might it be an IE8 issue on the board?

There's your problem right there: Internet Exploiter.

hmm, same thing. I get error on page message at the bottom of the IE8 window, while the circle next to the save button jsut goes on and on

As for IE, no choice, its what the pcs at work use. I will try it at home with FF later

Ah, it doesn't work with the basic editor. Switch to the enhanced one.

It might be a good idea to switch the default away from the basic editor if you can. It sucks donkey balls.

If you're using IE8 change the editor that is set up in your CP.

I will now test the edit function:

If I'm still alive in ten minutes, then no one read that and the edit worked fine.

I am having the same problem. Using FF3.

Edit: It works in advanced mode, but not in "quick" mode.

Yeah, advanced is the answer. A little annoying, but then, we had to go into that format by default on the old forum.
