Minor victory thread

So it looks like I'm probably going to end up suspending my commission to get my bachelor of forensic sciences. It's much more suited to my temperament and once I finish will fast track my promotional track to be in charge of people in the department I already work in.

However, it requires I go back to Uni for 3 years.

I've a lot of non-traditional students too. Most of them have been great because they're not afraid to work. They don't whine about having to read one chapter over a three-day weekend.

So is the pro team a team of 5, or do all of their hunters also have to be proficient at monster or what?
A team should consist of 5 players, 1 for each hunter role and a monster player, most high end monster players have a main monster they prefer and a back up monster if they feel the map or hunter match up doesn't look good for their first choice.

Just finished zero-ing both of my mailboxes. One of them had never been cleaned, and was opened in 2005.

34,000~ e-mails deleted.
4,000~ e-mails labelled+archived.

Feels good.

After seven months of unemployment, during which I applied for at least 200 jobs (and none of these were big pie-in-the-sky-no-way-I'd-qualify-for-this-but-I'd-love-to-do-it jobs), and had two (2) interviews, I've decided to go back to college. The good news is I've applied for admission, been accepted, and taken my placement test (they wouldn't take SAT scores from 2 decades ago, and I really didn't want to transfer in on a 1.7 GPA from my previous college experience). The bad news is, I appear to have forgotten Algebra. The placement test suggests that I take MAT 091 - Introduction to Algebra.

What are you going for? If you don't mine me asking.

Not at all - the plan is to go to the local technical college to get an AAS-T in Culinary Arts, and then transfer back to my old 4 year university to complete a BA in Hotel/Restaurant Management, then take the skills and education that I've picked up along the way to open a small, farm-to-table, sustainably/responsibly sourced restaurant with my wife and parents in the Spokane Valley, in eastern Washington.

3 roommates? More like 0 roommates today, son! Everyone else is staying out tonight! And I know you know what that means, dawg! NOT MUCH OF A CHANGE FROM MY NORMAL ROUTINE ANYWAY HOMIE!

Got pulled over for doing 34 in a 25.

Got let off with a warning!

When the patrolman scanned my license on his handheld thingamabob, his eyebrows went up slightly and he said "Wow, you're a good driver."

I guess it has been a while since I last got a ticket.
