I have Sirius now because my wife got it for me for a Christmas gift but I prefer the relative randomness of radio vs the way Spotify and whatnot lock you into your own choices. The 20 year old just hit me with "I'd say if you even bother trying to listen to the radio, that's already the sign you're old."
I must admit I've regressed into full blown "nothing new is good" mode like a REAL codger and just listen to the ~2000ish tracks I have in Plex on random, forever reliving the past.I have Sirius now because my wife got it for me for a Christmas gift but I prefer the relative randomness of radio vs the way Spotify and whatnot lock you into your own choices.
That being said, I am old so idk.
Unfortunately if you do that here all you get is terrible country musicThough I keep my own MP3 playlists for when we travel out of state, I still prefer to flip through the local radio stations in the car. I like the randomness. Also, I still try to keep an ear out for new artists. There's a lot of "bad", but there are still some gems that pop up.
