Is there any particular accent that has a very light "t" sound? Cause that's the only way I can make "space ghetto" sound like a Scottish "spice girl".

Bear in mind it's a Scot making the statement.

In a Scottish accent, "girl" is a two syllable word.

I think it's harder to make the argument for space/spice than ghetto/girl.

In many American accents, the T and D sounds are almost interchangable. Same goes for R and D sounds in Scottish.

Really it's just the "Americans saying Rise Up Lights is Australians saying Razor Blades" thing again.
