I see this as very effective commentary on how much we spend on frivolous purchases. Spending four point seven grand all at once on beer sounds insane. But spending four point seven grand on beer over the course of, say, five or ten years? I wouldn't be surprised if some of us have actually done it.
 
In case you guys were curious I did the math. Assuming those are 12 ounce cans, that is about 23.5 kegs worth of beer. A keg of bud costs about $100 so unless you really have a need for cans, it's probably not the way to go.

Yeah, in MI the deposit alone would add another $324.00 to the price, and most places have a limit of $25/day on returnables.
