I saw pancake wisdom displayed a moment ago in another Ask Dave thread, and it reminded me of something I've been struggling with for a while.
How do blueberry pancakes still exist in a world where chocolate chips are cheap and readily available? It strikes me as if the proliferation of chocolate should spell doom for a berry-infused breakfast food, but such speculations don't really match the reality of the situation.
Any light you could shed on this would be appreciated.
