Weird weather

It was 19 today and I was, in fact, walking around in a sweatshirt like it was a nice fall day. Relative temperature is fun. :D
Started out around 14° this morning, made it up to about 28°, and I’ve been out and about in shorts, t-shirt, and for most people a light jacket. I got a few looks, mostly from people that were dressed in what could possibly be every item of clothing they own. It felt good, comfortable out there.

I didn’t wear gloves on one of my short trips out and I have a mark where my watch must have been too cold on my wrist?

I did some extreme weather, late night Squishmallow hunting though :D

I filmed my walk with my GoPro this morning, mostly for my own safety. In retrospect, I should've tried getting more interesting shots like at the beginning. And I should've checked that the lens was clear. Ah well.

That just looks like a normal winter when i was little...

Nowadays even when it snows it doesn't even last a week...

Also, i keep forgetting you guys don't get paid days off...

I like this video! This is how snowstorms should feel. We haven't had a ton of snow, but when we did, the tempts were so cold it at around for over a week. Not this past week, though, where it's been cold and rainy all week, but not cold enough for snow. :(

Nearly all of our snow has melted. This week is ordinarily -30 and we're sitting at +6. We went skiing yesterday on the last remaining skiffs of man-made snow available.

Yesterday, the wind decided to ramp up just as I was heading out on a ride. I was ready for the 13mph (21 kph) winds --the wind gusts, not so much.

Dear Microsoft, I appreciate that windows wants to warn me of a nearby weather alert, bit given that I am working in the lab on my desktop computer, knowing that there is a small craft advisory is not particularly helpful. That goes double for a rip tide warning.

Last few weeks, we had bright sunshine and temperature in the 10-15 degrees Celsius range. Perfectly normal Smarch weather.

Yesterday, in the evening, it started raining. Then snowing. We actually lost power around 5 PM yesterday, got it back around 8 PM.

Today, well, this is what I woke up to:

Didn't have a great camera handy, but still managed to capture one for "I wuz there" sake. So now I can say I've been here for two of them.
Completely clear skies in MI, ~70F/21C, you could not have asked for more ideal conditions. A good experience even at only ~90% totality.

From just scattered showers to severe thunderstorm in 2 hours. Gonna be a rough and interesting evening. I can feel some low pressure areas around, usually a sign to me that we may have tornadoes around.
