I like how you could put him with a cave background saying the same things in Arabic and you'd have a terrorist, at least visually.

Last I checked he's not out killing infidels.

Unless you refer to ducks as infidels.

Do they have one where the eagle laments the idea of clinging to ideals relevant to a sparsely populated frontier culture in an increasingly urbanized and globalized world?

That really is the big failing of the free-market concept. Sometimes the damage caused is impossible to fix. Sure, you can sue that company into oblivion, but the people are still dead, or in the case of BP/Halliburton the ocean is still polluted. Free market can punish, but it can't fix. And this, ironically, is exactly why companies have a pro-active stance on these things internally. You don't wait for the drunk to screw up on the job, you keep the people from being drunk at work.

See, but it's cool, because private industry is self-regulating, and this bar and its suppliers will go out of business, magically resurrecting Ayn, Rand, and Paul.

Hey, I refrained from pointing out how stupid the picture's premise is because this is a funny picture thread, but if you guys are going to bandwagon onto it I'm going to roll up my sleeves.

Yes, it was totally that image that shaped my world view.[DOUBLEPOST=1411137692,1411137284][/DOUBLEPOST]I'm not really interested in a go-nowhere political conversation, either. That's why I stay out of the political thread. There's always an answer for everything that conveniently counters every point, and conveniently keeps all parties nestled snugly in their ideals. I realize the extremism of the image, which is why it's in the funny pictures thread, and not in the vampire one. Playing along with the joke does not constitute a wholesale acceptance of the Church of the Tweet.

Then why quote yourself to explain a manifestly obvious punchline 24 hours later, after 4 posts about something else have gone by, if not to get other people to start up the "huh huh huh yeah, Libertarians suck" conversation going?
