*long sigh of joy* I always get so blissed out when painting. I love mixing paints to make new colors. I love using a foamy brush to apply a thin layer of base color. I adore applying colors tso thinck that the brush strokes remain and it takes hours to dry. The feel of paint drying on my skin makes me smile.

Too bad my studio is next to the nursery though...I can't blast any music to get me in a true, workin' groove.

I run the headphone cord through the neck in my shirt down all the way into my jeans' pocket so I don't have to worry about accidentally running the cord through the paint or on the canvas.
