Before I get to all the unkown cosplay I'll post some Superhero tattoos, kind of a permanent cosplay:

I managed to figure out this one after all
Ronin (Marvel Comics)

Drow

Egyptian?

Is that a giant nail on his back? EDIT: Bang Shishigami from Blazblue: Calamity Trigger (Thanks Allen)

Yea, wings!

I love curly hair, especially when it looks so prim and classy

Last post for today. If I counted right, I made 25.

This is awesome armor, but NAi isn't ringing any bells.

Witch Doctor? (well, I prefer Tennant myself, which Doctor do you prefer?)

Gold Flying Monkey? Only one I know of is this guy:

Metallic rat skull? (forget him, I think that's Black Canary in the background!)

Good grief, there are a metric smurf-ton of pics being posted from Dragoncon. I could barely even bookmark cosplay faster than new pics were being uploaded at one point.

Good news, Bellechere was there. Here she is marching with Mad Max cosplayers:

Condiments

Chicks love bacon, even green chicks.

Sea Monkey

Wii Girl

There is no way I'm going to be able to post every pic I found today. Hopefully the deluge will let up soon so I don't drown in the backlog.

Cardboard Star Wars - if this were just one costume, it would be lame. As a group it's hilarious.

Chewbacca - Mighty Muggs version

Speeder Bike

Last post for tonight:

Cardboard Thing vs Cardboard Hulk (is there a Rock-em Sock-em Robots style toy of these two? If not there should be.)

Iron Man

Iron Punisher?

I love good cosplay, but I absolutely love creative cosplay. Scottish Trooper? Awesome. A bit of the Star Wars fan in me weeps, but he's a dweeb anyways.

And as I mentioned before, people cosplaying characters who are cosplaying other characters definitely win. I'd love to see a Storm Trooper cosplaying a Gundam or a Zaku II or something.

HA! No one expects the Sith Inquisition!

Their chief weapon is surprise.

And fear.

Fear AND surprise.

Their TWO weapons are fear and surprise.

And ruthless efficiency.

Their THREE weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency

And an almost fanatical devotion to the Emperor.

AH! FOUR! Amongst their weapons are such elements as fear, surprise...I'll start again.

HA! No one expects the Sith Inquisition!

Amongst their weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, and an almost fanatical devotion to the Emperor.

And nice red uniforms - Oh damn!

Some of those Iron Man costumes are insane. They look so good.
I don't know what you're talking about. ;)

How much work and money are those people throwing at a single day of cosplay?
Well, I know I've seen some of these at multiple cons, but I know what you mean. I really hope they're enjoying the crafting as much as the showing-off, but I imagine the attention is enough for some, even just a few days a year.

There were a ton of badass costumes at DragonCon this year, I was around for all 4 days. Once my friends upload some pictures I'll see what I can scrounge up for you dudes. I saw a lot of what was posted and some that aren't up yet that were spectacular. There was a lot of Firefly, Wolverine and GI Joe cosplay, most of it was great.

Grr! Stupid broken Flickr search engine! Stupid thing can't display more than 67 pages of results. From the time I started sifting through this evening to the time I finished seeing as many "dragoncon" results as I could, there were 30 more pages of results added. 30 pages added in 4 hours time. So there's a big chunk of what was added earlier today I have no idea how to search for. Oh, well. Still found a metric smurf-ton anyway (that would be the amount of smurfs needed to make a ton of gold).

Too bad I've only got zombie smurfs on hand. Stupid Halforums infection.

Wha? In my Lincoln too?!

That darn infection just gets everwhere.

Seven of Nine (Star Trek: Voyager)

Seven of Nine

7 of 9... er, that is, the stitchpunk #7 from the movie 9

Here's some more 9 cosplay:

I'm not sure about this one, it might be from 9, it might be something else:
EDIT: It is something else, Gasbandit says "Techpriest EnginSeer of the Adeptus Mechanicus from Warhammer 40k" - thanks!

Last one almost looks like a Techmarine, but the armor's not right so I doubt that. I did end up behind that person on the escalator this weekend though, there's a little arm on their backpack that almost poked my eye out. :Leyla:

That last one is a Techpriest EnginSeer of the Adeptus Mechanicus from Warhammer 40k. The little arm is called a "mechadendrite" if memory serves.

That's a lot more ab definition than I would usually associate with a 'con.

SPARTANS! TONIGHT! WE DINE! IN SOUPER SALAD!!

That 300 cosplay reminded me of something I heard of out here a few years back.

On Halloween last year, apparently a guy went downtown as Howie Mandel, and managed to convince 26 women to buy/wear the same dress and carry numbered suitcases around with him for the entire night.

Remember, leaves of three, let it be.

Not sure who the medic is. Harley Quinn?

with a Soul Reaper?

Bane & Ivy (no, no, NOOOO! Make the Batman & Robin flashbacks stop!)

Is that lipstick on his collar?

Friend of mine was one of the 300 guys. They all trained/dieted for about a year to get in shape to do those costumes.

Also, the painted abs on Ivy look ridiculous.
