[Movies] The Upcoming Movies Trailer Thread

You should totally watch it.

For me, I might have to rewatch the whole show. My memory is fuzzy on a lot of the details.
They usually post a good recap along with each new season, so that might help when/if it comes out.

EDIT: By “it”, I mean the recap. I know the next season is definitely on the way.

Oh, I'm sure the recaps are fine. It's not like the show is as complicated to follow as, say, The Witcher. But I've been meaning to rewatch the series, anyway, because it's a great show.

So I just discovered that villain of this upcoming season of Stranger Things will be nick-named "Vecna".
God damn this show just keeps getting better and better.

Each season the main monster has always had a D&D monster nickname applied to it. Like the Demogorgan in the first season and the Mind Flayer in the 2nd. (I forget what the third was called). “Vecna” is a famous D&D antagonist who is a lich who basically achieved Godhood through sadistic rituals.

Chip n Dale trailer 2
Honestly, they had me right until the twin speak at the end. It looked cute and fun and then that reminded me it was a kid's movie. That's supposed to be the final thing you remember about the trailer and the impetus to get you to watch it and it fell completely flat for me.

I do really like the choices Dan Radcliffe has made post-Harry Potter. They're not always great movies, but he's not worried about his image or being type-cast. I swear I read in an interview once that he basically decided his Harry Potter money left him set for life, so now he picks whatever projects so fun, regardless of budget or prestige. Seems like a heathly attitude to me, especially for a child actor.

Swiss Army Man is a perfect example of that.

"Hey Dan, wanna play a dead body who can rocket across the ocean with its flatulence?"

"Would I!"

"And after that, you can play a guy with guns nailed to your hands!"

"Woo hoo!"
Could you just edit your quote so it covers the spoiler? You replied after I edited it, because I'd prefer to not spoil that movie.

Also, I'm almost afraid to see which weird, obscure Marvel and/or DC character he'll inevitably play. Watch him become Ambush Bug or something.

Didn't they already cast Bob in a Deadpool movie?

Avatar: Way of the Water

I kinda I'm on the minority, but I'm looking forward to this. I really enjoyed the first one and think it gets an undeserved bad rap.
