I didn't realize this week's brawl has semi-random decks until my second game because my first game with Priest looked so much like a constructed deck.

If it works like shadowstep, then no, as the card loses its discount the moment it is played.
I wondered. My assumption is that it will also lose state effects like the VanCleef boost, Corruption, Equality and that it’ll be freshly played when resummoned, Battlecry and all as normal, respect Han Cho/Mistcaller while in hand, etc.
...so basically Secret Shadowstep, yeah.

Wasn't Blizzard taking about making card text more immediately clear? I have no clue what this means on first glance.
It is a really poorly worded card. I had to read more to figure out what the text meant.

Basically, when you cast this card it returns to your hand, and then discards itself at the end of your turn.

I assume the copy returns to your hand again and again if you want, so you can raise 4 minions one level each, or raise one minion 4 levels. Versatility.

Unless the full reveal has some stellar warlock cards, I'm probably skipping this expansion. I'll maybe craft a couple key cards, but I'm just not feeling this one enough to pre-order, or spend my gold.

For those still confused about how Unstable Evolution works, basically you can pay 1 mana repeatedly in a turn in order to progress your totems up through these minions:

I admit that I noticed the Cho and the abject mediocrity of the upgrade sequence and thought, "Huh? This makes no sense. The only way it would make sense would be for the Battlecries to trigger but of course that's not going to happen."
They put in a fake 5 mana 1/1 for the sake of the joke! The lowest stats you can get on a 5 mana minion is a 2/2 (though, one of those is the Bomb Squad.)

But it's...not fake?
I mean, its place is the same as the Big-Time Racketeer next to it, where the card's "value" isn't in the card itself, but in its Battlecry...and how much it deliciously screws up Evolve/Atiesh/Summoning Stone mechanics.

So basically what you're saying is that the next expansion, whatever it may be, is going to come with at least a dozen new methods of hard removal?
@figmentPez: ...in order to combat the quickened swarming of minions?

Please tell me this card is not going to appear in arena (because it would be so bad in that context)

Or ... you could just have two Animal Companion cards. Or Call of the Wild if you're trying to save card space. Who the fuck thought this card was a good idea? And it's a fucking epic? So someone could open a pack and see an epic, and think it's going to actually be something, and then it's this goddamn thing.
