Yeah, the idea of a live-action Lion King is one I don't have a lot of faith in. In addition to already being really good, it's all animals. At least The Jungle Book has Mowgli has a human figure. Why make The Lion King live-action?
I'd be more on board with this if there wasn't already several Chinese live action adaptions of the work already. Some of them are even good.
Unless they adapt the broadway musical, I can't possibly see it being anything but animated. Just with computers, lots of green screen, and an unnecessary high budget.
All I can say is, Jungle Book.

The first King Arthur film is in the can and coming out next year. It is the Robin Hood that has been pushed back due to the Kingsman sequel.
