I need an anime buddy, ie somebody to watch anime with. I miss the old days of chilling with my friends and throwing a new title in and bullshitting while enjoying it. now all my friends have commitments and familys and im alone. :(

Greetings, acquaintance with whom I am feigning playful affection, what is your approximate geographical location?

Well dang. If I ever end up oop north, or you decide to venture down to the deep south for some godawful reason, we can be weaboos together.
oh most def i feel like if i ever make it there im going to see OC and Poe as well. My other problem as my one buddy who was my animu blood brother was cut out of my life by his wife, who felt this hobby made me a bad person, it was suggested I was a pedo. I tried to explain, but to no avail.
edit: I feel this comes from my time spent volunteering to read to school children which she took to be me trying to prey on said minors, since a 28 year old man could never enjoy the act of entertaining children, this was certainly untrue, but if i watch that dirty smut I must be a dirty pervert.

I made myself some crackers and cheese and used old cheese thinking that if it looked and smelled ok I would be ok.

One cracker in and no...definitely not ok. My daughter is officially terrified and grossed out.

Three hours until we have a houseful of six year old boys sleeping over....

No kidding tonight will either be the brilliant standard of awesome for all future sleepover parties or a total shit show.

Keep us in your thoughts :)

Was NOT in the mood to fight shoppers at the Super Wal-Mart (please save your derision, it's the only damn major store in town), so waited in the car while wife finished shopping inside.

I'm going over the crap that's been happening at work over the last few months, when I hear a SCREE-BAM! - and feel my car getting bumped. Lady tried to pull in to the empty spot next to mine from the "opposite" side (diagonal parking opposite direction, put a scrape and a few dents in my driver's side rear door.

Now my State Farm people get to go argue with Flo and her ilk, while I have to figure out how I can make it on only one car - though I'm pretty sure I can get a loaner from the body shop.

Well, on the up side, you were there to witness it so she couldn't bail. I feel you on the innocent bystander type accident though.

Oh, and the hits just keep coming: another of my uncles - who was sick for my last uncle's funeral, just passed away today, too. :(

Okay. No more hoping. I've seen it. Now what, besides needing a new tag line?

And it sucks when you're the only one in the house still physically capable of major cooking. I'm not baking my own cake today. :p

My wife and I set limits for how much we can spend on each other for Christmas. We then each broke that limit by using our own allowance (our individual monthly spending money.)

Then my wife got a $75 Amazon gift card from a co-worker -_-.

I know this is a weird thing to complain about, but I feel like she should've split the gift card with me so we could each buy things for each other. I like getting her gifts too, but I don't have another $75 lying around.

Perhaps if I sell a possession of mine that would ironically be necessary to make her gifts worthwhile ...

Man, don't be falling into the Gift of the Magi trap. If she wants to spend the 75 on something for Christmas, just ask her to use it on something for BOTH of you. Then neither of you need to worry about it.

Already chopped off my hair. Damn. :p

I like your suggestion, but unfortunately she already spent it. I'm pretty sure I know what she spent it on too. The Wii U is now installed with assist packs in case I'm right.

Welp, I was texting the girl I had a first date with last night.

She was polite and straight forward with me.

There won't be a second date. :(

Hey now, I may be a bit derisive of Super Wal-Marts as an institution, but not the people who shop at them. Besides, I lived in a small Wisconsin town for a year-ish, I fully understand not having any other options to shop. I swear to god that the people running every other business in Stoughton were the laziest, least business savvy people out there. All of the small mom and pop stores wanted to blame Walmart for their businesses suffering, and at the same time, they were only open from 8:30am to 4:30pm M-F and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays. You are literally giving people with jobs 5 hours to shop each week and expecting to be able to compete with a store that's open from 7am to 9pm, seven days a week? Yeah... it's totally Walmart's fault.

It's the same with people that run things like Antique stores. They want to open at 10am, take a half-hour/hour for lunch closed, and shut down for the day at 5pm. Uhmmm, do you really want a business, or just a daycare to keep you out of the house during the day? You have to be open when people are able to shop, staying open to at least 6pm or 7pm opens up so much more time for people to leave work and still have time to possibly spend money with you.

Dang it. The app I use for my art got an update a couple days ago, and one of the tools I use fairly frequently - the distort tool, is bugged. It will put up the manipulation frame, but it won't move anything after that.

This was my first year using the clips. I usually just have permanent bent up nails or I use the stapler. My neighbor moved out to an apartment and bequeathed unto me all her halloween and christmas decorations including a large bag of clips. They were certainly easy, but it also feels like the first good wind is going to pull them down.

Just got back from the doc's. Nasty case of cellulitis in my left leg, which is what I kinda thought it would be. Keflex prescription being phoned in, and I'd like to wait for that to get filled so that when I get home I can just be done with everything and go pass out on the couch.
