What the hell would possess any advertising firm to think "dead kid who never got to grow up" would be a great idea for anything ever?

It didn't as far I know. I'm not even sure I existed until right now. And I'm only willing to define that in the Descartian sense.

What's the answer?
"no woman has ever been to space, so we don't know what the effect, if any, zero G will have on your period. Best to send you up with plenty to spare in case of some kind of emergency, so yes, 100 is a good number, even though an average woman will probably use less than a quarter of that".

LOL, I wonder if they think that women just constantly bleed or if they're aware that it's a menstrual CYCLE.

"Hell, Morty, I have no idea. For all we know, zero gravity might turn 'em into constantly-gushing liquid-powered human rockets! Just... How many can we fit in a standard container on board? If we REALLY pack em in there?"

I wonder what the actual story is behind this. Best I can tell that "fact" comes from this article. "Engineers asked Ride, 'Is 100 the right number?' She would be in space for a week. 'That would not be the right number,' she told them." Sounds like there was a lot of passive-aggressive bullshit going on, and that "100" was never a serious guess.

Obviously this means the first thing you're supposed to do is to go to a nice restaurant.
Ok, it's a nice start. And then you roll the dice and see what you're supposed to do next.

...hopefully it's not "have sex/on a table" or you might never be invited back there again.

"It's one-a them there... ah... you know... them things where you go to see the fish swimmin' round in the glass tanks... ah hell, whaddayacallit... ah.. right on the tip of my tongue... you know! The... dammit... the... I dunno.. liquid... zoo?"

I've got a couple friends who were from Ft. McMurray originally - one lives in Calgary, the other in Medicine Hat now. The stories they've told me about the West Edmonton Mall make it seem a magical place, along the same lines as the Mall of America...
