The Fappening

it's me honking a horn since I am likening him to a clown
You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little fucked up maybe, but he's funny how, I mean funny like he's a clown, he amuses you? He make you laugh, he's here to fuckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How is he funny? No, no, I don't know, you said it. How do I know? You said he's funny. How the fuck is he funny, what the fuck is so funny about Gasbandit? Tell me, tell me what's funny!

And what about the Killer Klowns from Outer Space? They have a home. They have a lifestyle. It's just been appropriated by Earth and now its meaning has changed from murderous to disturbing humor.

Bring back proper clownish! Bring back proper clownish![DOUBLEPOST=1410133699,1410133596][/DOUBLEPOST]
Oh, there actually are a number of traditions and rites of cultural importance in history. I thought I was just jabbing Charlie; I didn't know it was a real thing. I feel bad now.

Hah, I was jabbing Charlie too, clownist that he is.

Do you go around drawing swastikas, claiming they're ancient symbols of protection too? You Nazi sympathizer! Honking twice like that is clearly alluding to grabbing female breasts. I bet you even made the hand motions that come along with it, you filthy shitlord! And now you're claiming clowns are something that is there to amuse you? Something! Get it? You don't even see clowns as people; you're objectifying them as something that exists only to allow you to point your smelly finger and laugh. Where do you get off, you white, male privileged ass?

i wish y'all spent half as much time reading about privilege and/or intersectionality as you do tilting at windmills to me, but whatever
I did advise you a page or so ago to try being educational instead of trollish. In the Ferguson thread, you preferred to attack someone than inform. How do you ever expect to help any of these important matters with that kind of behavior?

Funny enough, I took several women's studies classes in college, along with classes on 19th and 20th century colonialism and American slavery. Most of the posters around here are pretty well versed and educated in those and a variety of subjects. I actually wish you knew what the fuck you were talking about half the time.

Allright - I'll be that guy. No I don't blame the women, nothing wrong with what they did or continue to do in the future. But genie's out of the bottle and so forth, so I checked out the link that Nick posted in the NSFW.

from the small portion of what I saw, there wasn't anything that extraordinary. I was expecting basically a bunch of bathroom mirror selfies fresh out of the shower or maybe a nip slip here or there. For the most part that's what you got. I don't even remember most of the people that had linked pics, most I had to even google why they were famous.

The JLaw pics were more than I expected, with a couple on a couch that were quite beautiful (think Playboy quality)

The Kate Upton pics were about what I expected with a few exceptions. She's a swimsuit model, so you've basically already seen most of her jumbly-bits before. Her um, catalog, was by far the most voluminous - with occasional pics of some other woman and Verlander junk in there. There were a few though, that were "Penthouse quality". A couple of faceless crotch shots & one "money shot".

There were some Brie Larson shots that were nothing more than unbuttoned oxfords revealing little. A bunch of supposed fake pics, a couple of Glee stars, one of which was hardcore quality, and a couple of Olivia Munn pics. You have to take their word for that since both of them were headless.

All in all, not that exciting for porn addicts, but I guess it was a heyday for giggling schoolboys in parochial boys' rooms.

If by fail, you mean think critically, act on facts not emotions, and not just parrot what other people tell me, then yup. They failed miserably.

That's your biggest issue Charlie. You don't argue points, you regurgitate directionless rage.
I think that's his symptom, not his problem.

well, your professors have failed you
Sounds good. I'm still good friends with two of them, one being the chair of the women's issues and LGBT group at my alma mater. The other was revolutionary in his area of African colonialism and exclusively focuses on the sociology of the colonizer and colonized.

Like always, NC, you got no bite behind your bark. I suggest you brush up on the philosophy of argument because you're logos is seriously fucked by your pathos and total lack of ethos.

The problem is that NC has never experienced real oppression, and he takes it upon himself to be the voice of the oppressed. His wet dream is to be a white Messiah to all those poor wretches that can't speak for or take care of themselves. Because he's never been a victim of such circumstances, he is oversensitive to the slightest infringements. Such is the MO of most SJWs. People that have experienced oppression tend to let minor infringements slide or regard them as unimportant.

What's funny to me is that it's an almost exact opposite of reality.

In reality, people who routinely face hardship tend to be significantly more resilient; if for no other reason than sheer necessity. To the actually oppressed microaggressions aren't on the same level as hate crimes - they're not even noticed. There is a reason why you don't hear people saying "my boss forced us to work overtime off the clock and threatened to have us deported if we complained but what really gets me is that some dude told me to smile the other day on the bus" or "the police beat me to a bloody pulp while screaming 'stop resisting', but instead let's talk about how fucked up it is that Assassin's Creed IV isn't going to allow character customization wtf EA?!" These statements would be ridiculous; if one were to make either of them then a rational person would likely assume the first part of the sentence is a lie.

Conversely, people who have never faced actual hardship tend to be a bit over sensitive to minor inconveniences, if only because they have no frame of reference with which to compare them to. These are people whose biggest problems to date have been "sometimes people disagree with my opinions even though I'm certain that my opinions are objectively correct", and everything kind of gets re-balanced on that scale. To them, failing to acknowledge that they're totally a trans-racial agendered biromantic demiboy who just happens to look like a middle class white girl is in fact oppression. It's roughly equal to the greatest hardships they've faced, and they simply don't realize that precious few people are fortunate to live such care-free lives.

I think the moral here is that allowing the least vulnerable, most privileged people in our society the right to impersonate, speak on the behalf of, and often silence actually oppressed people is a really, really bad thing. Sadly, I don't see anything changing in the immediate future. So many of them are so convinced that they're doing good and anyone who disagrees is evil, and such a mindset doesn't change easily.

And anytime someone attempts to engage him intelligently about any of these subjects? Silence.[DOUBLEPOST=1410221585,1410221311][/DOUBLEPOST]

I've seen conversations between trans folks who say they can't keep track of all the varying terminology well-meaning supporters come up with for them.

This is why I consider NC a troll.
